3100 Part 3: Demise

Maybe There's A Chance....

For the first time in about 30 seconds, James began pacing his office lost in thought again. Jack was obviously mentally unstable, he knew that much. But there was much he didn't know. How does a 60 year old man die in an explosion in space then come back to Earth as a new man yet still be the same person? Rhys called it 'James's great imagination'. James called it a miracle of science that Jack was here in the 32nd century.

He stopped pacing. Jack is ill. Not terminally, but he was most definitely ill. Maybe he could be healed. Maybe there was a chance that James could bring him back. He looked out of his window. He could see the vast complex of Jack's mansion in the distance. Knowing that was where he would find Jack, he programmed his target into his intercom and hit the button to send him where he needed to be.

34 seconds later, he was at Jack's front door.
