"KELSEY!!"

I groan.
Mornings. The word to top my Hate list.
And it isn't even human.

I roll myself off the bed.
"I'm up, okay ma!" I roll my eyes. She really needs to relax. Life doesn't always have to be punctual. After taking a shower, I quickly relax in my bed. "Hurry gets you no where", my motto in life.
Mum says that's just me being lazy. Same thing.

I quickly change, grabbing my bag. I shove my phone with the books. I look arround to see if I am forgetting anything.
Yes. Your assignment.
I smack my face.
'I'll just do it at school, during lunch break'.
My wolf scoffed.
Yeah. Let me see you try.

I run downstairs ignoring her. Nothing good comes from argueing with my wolf, you'll give up reason.
Meeting my family downstairs, I greet everyone. My fam consists of Dad, Mum and my 5 year old brother, Zack.
I kiss my mum and dad good morning. I sit next to my five year old brother, Zack. I laugh as he jumps into my lap. He grumpily, crosses his arms glaring at the food in front of me.
He is such a jealous kid. My wolf huffs as I chuckle in agreement.

I quickly give him a kiss on the cheeks. To which he beams, as he pulls my face and gives me one in return. I smile as I start eating my breakfast. After, I was done, I put Zack down and ruffle his hairs.
Grabbing my lunch, I run outside to catch my bus. Always catching it, barely, on time.
I grin with satisfaction. Safe, again.

Too much drama, blah blah. Vamps (not the band), were's and humans we all live together. We used to have grudges and war all around but we lost lots of lives.
So, to survive, we learnt the art of survival. Live in harmony and peace.
Although, every now and then,there would be a great disruption between the different species.
But its been better than the ancient days.
At least, thats what my mum said.

I get off the bus and walk towards my high school. Pretty much the only one.
I lived in a pretty small town.
Woods and waterfalls. Huge spaces to run around in. Not to mention, perfect for a wolf pack.

The alpha and luna of the pack were good people. Richard was really responsible and kind, he did a good job maintaining the pack. Everyone respected him, not once ive seen him be mad at anyone or anything. Diana was like a mother figure, always there for you. Strict yet, loving.
Although, I wasn't fond of their son. Paul. He is a year older. A total jerk but as long as you're on his good side, he doesn't do much. He is nice sometimes but that must be because his sister, Sarah, is my friend.
Sarah isn't that bad except for the fact that she would abuse her power every now and then.
    'Is that bad?' Yes.
But you can't do anything about it. It is an alpha thing. We can't say no. Although, being stubborn got me in trouble, all the time.

Paul and Sarah both are really alike. Good looks run in their family. Even if their personality is like a spoilt brat.
     Plus, I may have a thing for Paul.

No you don't. My wolf scoffed. You're just into the alpha thing.
'You're right, I dont'. I agree with a grin.

But I do think about my Mate. What would he be like?
A total hunk, maybe? My wolf seemed really enthusiastic about the mate thingie.
'So, Paul is a no but someone else is fine?' I raise an eyebrow in amusement.
She rolls her eyes. You sound like you're complaining.
I laugh. 'Nope. Just a thought'.

"Kels!"
I turn around to see Sarah walk towards me with Jane and Laura. Also, Were-wolfs. Jane and Laura were more of Sarah's friends (or pets, to be exact)
"Hey, whats up?"
Sarah puts her hands around my arm with a grin "Have you heard? There is a new transfer student!".
I smile. A transfer student is a very rare thing. Since this is like the last place you'd want to come to.
