A/B storytelling
The name that makes me myself
Hi my name is Sol Dyleri and this is the story of I got upon having my name. This story started many years before I was even tough of being born. It started when my grandmother was pregnant of my aunt (her youngest daughter). My grandmother loved to watch soaps and in this Latin American soaps it is very common to have nuns as characters, and one of these nuns was named Sor Dyleri, very similar to mine you would say but you must wait to know what happens, the thing with the name is that as soon as my grandmother heard it she know it was the perfect name for her soon to be born daughter. Time passed and the moment of birth had come and to the hospital they went in the accustomed rush that is like the rush people have in New York. The process of giving birth was going on my grandmother suffered the pain but was rewarded with the Happiness of new life. Now the time to register and name the newborn girl, but then a dreadful thing happened, My grandfather forgot the name my grandmother wanted for my newborn aunt and for her demise he named her Margarita after my grandmother, now my aunt and grandmother had the same name.
Well then years passed and my mother and her siblings grew up and my mother met my father (sorry that is a story for another time) and my mother got pregnant, and now started the quest to find the perfect name for the soon to be born child. As the first task of parenting came upon my parents the saw that parenting is more difficult than believed and so they went through many names trying to decide the right one for me. Months went by and came the ninth month of pregnancy came and my time to introduce myself into this world has come and yet my parents did not know what to name me! The run for the hospital was on and ass the speeded through the streets the decision of the name was the last thing they taught of, and into the hospital they went and my mother was taken with the doctors along with my father. While mom was giving birth my relatives began to arrive at the hospital and within them my beloved grandmother. At last I was born and all the room was full of joy after my father told my family I was born and a girl, then it was time to register and name me and dad remembered that he had no idea what my name should be, this is when my grandmother comes in and says that she has the perfect name for me a name she had loved for a long time and new not a better person to have it than me and tells my father to name me Sor Dyleri. My father agreed whit the name and found it to be perfect but once more the man in charge of naming forgot of something and named me Sol Dyleri instead of Sor but in the end it all worked out for the best
Writer analysis:
This story has a Human relations theme. It is based in the steps that happened before naming a new child, it has no dipper story than just how difficult and almost comedic getting the right name for children can be. I believe that storytelling and then acting them it has it good thing and also makes learning fun (sometimes) I still don’t know how it would help us in writhing but I will wait to see what happens. I know we started with setting and now we are doing theme but the way we are going there is very different and to me not that appealing I like stories and also to write them but when they are not work to me, so I believe this is the focus of the professor when she makes the class as is.
