Betrayed

I was mistaken and fooled
Who ever thought you could be this cruel?
All these years and I thought I knew you
Until you true colors showed, and I could see through you
All the lies you told - you thought you had saved me
You're wrong again, you just don't see
One day everything seemed so perfect
The next day you thought I wasn't worth it
Then suddenly I'm the one to blame
Because you felt like you were disclaimed
You act like a victim, but I don't believe it
I'm the one who suffered while you had quit
Maybe if you cared we wouldn't be here
Everything we had disappeared
Everything we had fell through
Now I'll forget and become anew
All because I was betrayed by you
