You know in movies when the love story happens so quickly? Like a fast forwarded tape, a squeaky voice in the background. In a matter of a few days, there seems to have been a wildfire of love. Happily ever after is clearly inevitable for the starring couple.
As I have learned in the past years, there is no wildfire for most of us. Instead, there is a destructive slow burn that tears apart the most sacred of creations. And it is beautiful. I wouldn't change what happened if I was promised the best, most romantic ending ever to be written. Surely that is more important than the fast paced version we are so used to.
