Through The Dark

Chapter 1

"Click, Clack".

"Click, Clack".
I wake up to the sound of footsteps. I am in a dim lit room, lying on the floor. I notice there are other people lying on the floor around me. I try to sit up, but can not seem to gather enough strength. There are men walking around us, which explained the footsteps. The people around me seem to be still asleep. One of the men noticed me from across the room. He gives me a cold hard stare, and walked over to me. He roughly picks me up, and slings me over his shoulder. I try to scream but I am already slowly fading away...

"Click, Clack".

"Click, Clack".
I am once again woken by footsteps. I am in a very similar room, but now with significantly less people. Other people around me seem to be waking as well. I see a girl next to me open her eyes. She gave me a scared look. The same men as before come over to us. This time instead up picking us up, they helped us to put feet. "Come with us", one man said in a serious voice. We follow him to a door leading into a hallway. We continue down the hall until the last door. The man opens it and shoves us inside, locking the door on his way out.

Me and the girl just stare at each other for I don't know how long. Another boy comes in with the same look on his face. Minutes later, another girl comes in. We all just stand there as the room fills up.

After what seemed like hours, one of the men comes into the room. He is holding something in his hand. He points it at a box attached to the wall that I never noticed. Suddenly all the lights shut off. Pitch black. I then hear the sound of him leaving and locking the door behind him.
