How Clover Twig lost her family

Chapter 1

Clover Twig stood there at the garden gate.As she stood she saw a silhouette behind the curtain.Clover pushed the gate but it would not budge,suddenly the gate spoke "Go away"Clover was shocked "who said that,who are you"
"Who do you think "groaned the gate. Clover looked down and saw the gate speaking. Clover gave it another push this time ten times harder,she stumbled as the gate fell of the hinges, she huffed and mumbled "well that gate was ridiculous" She walked up to the door and gave it a gentle knock "who is it " whispered the lady
"I'm here about the job" clover replied
"Come round the back,and watch the flowers"CLover looked around she couldn't see any flowers,did she mean the dead ones along with the long list of     burnt grass,weeds,stinging nettles and many other things. Clover looked around straight ahead tree was a strange spot of colour,she walked further on and saw a small patch oiof  herbs and vegetables and flowers. Clover walked to the door and knocked it.
