••Chapter 4••

As I hugged her, my stomach became filled with butterflies and I became light-headed.

Wh-whoa, what's happening?! Butterflies?! What?! No, no, no, no, no!! This cannot be happening! I-I can't be falling for her. B-but I think I am. NO. This will not happen! But she's so pretty and nice. NO!

I really wanted to like her but I was sick of R5 trying to set me up and like I said before, I didn't want to give them the satisfaction of knowing that they are good matchmakers.

Hayley was the 7th girl they set me up with. And none of the other girls made me feel this way. Maybe I should ask her out after I get to know her better.

Finally, the ride slowed down. A bright light shined towards us as the door opened.

I looked down at Hayley who had her head buried in my shoulder. "Hey, it's okay. The ride is over now," I said softly. She pulled away and looked up at me. I weakly smiled at her and she gave the same smile back.

We walked out of the capsule and went out the exit of the building. "Ah, it's so good to see the light again!" she chuckled. I laughed. "What do you wanna do now?" I asked.

Before she could reply, my phone rang.

"Hello? Hey! Yeah, we are fine. Hold on, let me ask.." I took the phone away from my ear and turned to Hayley.

"Riker want to know if your doing anything tomorrow, he booked us in a hotel here and he was hoping you could stay the night," I asked her. "No, I'm doing anything and yeah! I'll stay!" she smiled. I raised the phone back to my ear. "She said yes. Okay, bye!" I hung up.

The next few hours, Hayley and I walked around Disneyland. We met characters and went on a few more rides. And as the hours went by, I liked her more and more. She was so sweet and funny. I just couldn't help but liking her.

Around sunset, we ended up in California Adventure. As we walked pass the giant roller coaster, it gave me an idea.

"Hey, you want to see the World of Color tonight?" I asked her. "Sure! But what is it?" she said.

"You'll see. It's pretty amazing. And it starts in an hour, lets reserve a place before the tons of people get here.

After that its almost impossible to find a good view," I said, looking down at her hand. Agh!! I really want to hold her hand!! Should I? Maybe I haven't known her long enough...oh heck with it!!!
I slowly intertwined my fingers with hers, hoping she wouldn't yank her hand away. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw her glance down at our hands and smile bigger.

We walked down to the waters edge that surrounded the roller coaster. Some people had reserved spots already.

We gazed towards the sun as it sank below the horizon. Suddenly, a new feeling had come over me.

I felt...actually happy, a happy feeling I haven't felt in a while. And Hayley was responsible for that
