Dear diary ,
Indiana, Indianapolis

Today me and my two sisters, Tina and Eva, got our stuff settled into what was going to be our new room. We are now in indiana staying with my auntie aurelia. My mom was having a hard time taking care of all six of us so my auntie offered to take all the girls, and to add on top of that I had finally told her what happened to me a few months ago and she wasn't happy. It was an eight hour drive from Atlanta to here so I'm just going to take a nap. I just wanted to write in here beforehand

I put my journal on the table and got my clothes out for a shower. I was exhausted from the lack of sleep and I planned on dissolving into my nice comfortable bed.

As I stepped into the shower the warm water felt amazing on my skin. I hadn't tooken a shower since the morning before and I needed this.
While showering I had time to think about the last 48 hours.

I was staying with my mentor Ms. Rose and I had decided to tell her what happened between me and my dad a couple of months back.

Bad idea

Ms.Rose was a teacher meaning she was also an mandated reporter so telling her that my dad raped me was not a good idea. My dad was a dangerous man and its not just what I made it out to be, he was a sick man and took me so many times, I told her the weekend and by Monday I was in school And the counselor had requested to speak to me.
I know she didn't mean any harm by telling, she didn't have a choice, but it made me wish I'd kept my mouth closed about the situation. My family already had a handful going on with the eviction and my mom trying to find a place for all six children to stay and I had made it worst. Now she had to deal with the detectives and that was just too much. She told me it wasn't my fault but technically it was. Look where im at now, eight hours away from what I called home where I was happy to staying with my auntie in Indianapolis.

To top that I didn't know how long I was going to be with my sisters.
My mom was staying in a hotel with her boyfriend and my youngest brother Michael, my second brother Anthony was staying with his grandma in Amburg and my other brother willie stayed with his cousins.
My mom didn't have a job either so that made the situation even worse
And they had problems paying for the room. My life was a complete mess now and I was so frustrated.

I turned off she shower and dried my hair. I told my sisters goodnight and I went to lay down. I was going to start my new school on Wednesday and all I wanted to do was rest until then.

My dad was locked up, I was safe.
For now at least.
