Once school was finished I had rushed home and threw my bag somewhere in my room before dropping onto my comfy bed, my face colliding with the soft pillows.

"Why me?" My words almost inaudible from the pillows. Then there were three loud knocks on the door.

"(Y/N)! There's someone at the door! Get up and go check who it is!" My (mom/Dad/guardian/random person living in your home) shouted from the kitchen and I got up, leaving my safe and comfy second home before heading to the front door. I had already deducted that the one at the door would be this 'Armin Arlert' guy so I merely turned the silver knob and opened the door, not caring if the person on the other side could've been a murderer for all I knew.

"Hello," the male with chin length blond hair in a bowl-cut made an awkward smile as he stood on my welcome mat, holding about two thick books that made his twig like arms shake from its weight.

"Oh right come in," he walked inside and I closed the door as he headed to the wooden table of my dining room. Although we weren't best friends he would come over sometimes when I hung out with Eren, so he knows the first floor of my home. Basically we were friends but we don't talk to each other much outside of school, or even in school to be honest. But I could see why Mr. Ackerman wanted him to tutor me, I mean, he passed all the exams with flying, no, skyrocketing colors. I headed to the table as well, deciding to sit across from him as he opened one of the large books.

"Sooo... where will we begin?" He paused from his page flipping and smiled sheepishly.

"Right, um, how familiar are you with the subject?" I merely shrugged, I have paid attention but none of the information seemed to 'click' with me, so I usually forgot the topics as the days passed. "Then let's start at the beginning." He smiled, not giving any sighs or whines about teaching me the entire subject. Which was surprising, since some smart people are arrogant or impatient at teaching others who know very little about a topic. But I was thankful that Armin didn't seem like that, and for the rest of the day he taught me, being patient and even congratulated me whenever I did good. Sure we made some corny jokes and some puns for laughs, but we had fun and actually became better friends, one could even say we were now best friends. However, once the tutoring came to an end due to Armin getting a call from his grandfather, most likely the one who was going to pick him up now, he picked up his books and met me at the door.

"Today was fun, surprisingly." I smiled and held the door open for him.

"It was." He took a step out before turning around to look at me. "Um, do you want to hang out like this again? But without all the studying?"

"Sure." Then he handed me the books before pulling out a small slip of paper, and we switched the items in our hands.

"That's my number, you can text me when an available time is good for us to hang out. Or you can give me a call if you want... um, well goodbye and see you at school!" He smiled once more before heading outside and getting into his grandfathers' car. Once the car drove off I closed the door and walked up to my room, the slip of paper still in my hand. Right after I closed my door, I grabbed my phone from my desk and unlocked it. The bright screen lit up my room since I didn't bother to turn on my light switch. My fingers flipped through my contact list until I realized the adding contact button was right in front of my face. Once I put in his number I sent a quick hello before placing my phone back on my desk and taking a seat upon my comfy chair. The phone made the familiar noise that occurs whenever a text arrives and I moved my chair a bit to hold my phone once again. Armin had replied with 'hey.' A small smile arrived on my face as we began a mindless conversation about what fictitious events could unfold at school the next day. Soon enough it was around 11 pm, and for my final text of the night I wrote a simple 'goodnight' before moving to connect my phone to its charger and then flop onto my bed once more. As I began to enter the world of dreams I took note of the increased pace of my heart, signifying that I had seemed to develop a crush on the blond. But one other thing crossed my mind.
"Did he just technically ask me out?!"

A/N: I had a bit of writers block upon where this short series with Armin was going to go but this is the second part. Comment if you want a third part and a possible idea of what to do on the 'hang out.' And again, if you have any requests for a one shot feel free to pm me. By the way, there are no indents because I'm usually using my phone to write these.
