Saria smiled in spite of herself. She could always count on a walk through Ancient Grove to do that for her. Being 16, and by extension, available for marriage, life seemed to acquire quite a stressful tint. Courtships, lessons in betrothelment, and the overall pressure of being a female of royalty began to add up, like the individual bricks of a tomb. Unlike a tomb, and the body it houses, Saria wasn't one to be trapped by all that, so, she would often sneak away into some quiet corner of the kingdom, her latest book in hand, and allow herself to be a normal person for a few fleeting hours. She longed to visit the illustrious worlds of fantasy and fiction woven by her favorite authors, little knowing her own tale was about to start with a bang.
