"Ghe'tal, I don't know about this. I mean I know that I'm immortal and everything but-" I protested thinking about how scary my task was.

"Be calm, young one. I am training you, I know what I am doing. For I am part of the Everlasting Blaze." Ghe'tal responded, silencing me with a look.

(Pronounced Je- Tall)

"Very well Ghe'tal, I apologize for doubting you. " I apologized bowing to my teacher and fatherly figure.

"It is quite alright young one, had you not doubted me, I would have thought that you had no sense of self preservation at all." Ghe'tal chuckled.

"Hey! I do so, I just tend to use it less than others do." I protested pouting.

"Of course you do little one, of course you do." Ghe'tal chuckled once again, looking at me with an amused expression.

I tackled him into a hug and said, "Thank you for being a father to me Ghe'tal."

"You still have to do the task, you know that right?" he asked cocking an eyebrow.

"Fine." i sighed preparing myself to jump. Ghe'tal laughed at my sad tone.

"You didn't think i'd forget, did you?" he asked flicking his tail. I sighed again, knowing that he never forgets, at all.

~~~~~
"No." i shook my head out out of my thoughts. I would not think of that time again. I refuse to let my brain wander there. That memory was too painful.
The memory of that ancient, magical, metal, flaming tiger of mine hurt.
Ghe'tal really was a father to me, I had no one else.
I had been resented by everyone I had met, I had been beaten down countless times, but I had never once given up, for I was on a mission to find The Everlasting Blaze.
The Everlasting Blaze was an island protected with a barrier so that if anyone that wasn't allowed there, would forget the place entirely and leave. Or, if they were strong enough, would feel the pain of the barrier until they succumb to death.
I suppose when I got there I was lucky, for Ghe'tal had seen me fighting against the pain of the barrier, and let me in.
I was shocked and amazed to say the least, I had heard stories of this place, but nothing compared to the real thing. I stood in awe, admiring the beautiful land silently and not to mention, slack jawed.
It was beautiful. It was an island that looked as though it never ended, then I saw Ghe'tal.
That giant tiger was laying in the center of the island, on top of a giant pedestal covered in blue flames. Nearly gave me a heart attack.
I approached it, and kneeled down saying, "I am Lillith, and I wish for you to train me."
"Very well, I will train you, but only if you can last for a minute in battle with me." Ghe'tal stood, and it seemed to be made of white and black metal. Flames seemed to be coming from the inside of the magical creature. He seemed to be covered in flames, and slowly take the form of, me.
"Let us begin." He launched himself at me, yelling out energetically. I dodged, looking to my surroundings, thinking of what I could do to last at least sixty seconds in a fight with him. Apparently I took too long to think, resulting in him kicking me across the floor harshly. I gasped for air, trying desperately to regain the lost air in my lungs.
"Why don't you just give up?" he asked seeing me struggle to get up.
"If i gave up." i hacked, standing on wobbly legs, "Then it would all be for nothing." I lifted my hands before my face, going into a fighting stance.
"What would all be for nothing?" He asked, jabbing a hand towards my abdomen as I dodged the blow by an inch or so. I attempted to answer, when the said tiger swiped my feet out from under me, causing me to fall again.
