Prologue

"Find her."

Nagtago ang babae sa gilid ng building. Napasapo siya sa kanyang umbok na tiyan.

"We need to leave this place. Patawarin n'yo ako mga anak ko." Muling sumilip sa gilid ng building si Aphrodite.

Nakita niyang inilabas ng mga sundalo ang kanyang asawa.

"Johan, where is your wife?" tanong ng isang dayuhang sundalo sa kanyang asawa.

Ikinuyom ni Aphrodite ang kanyang kamay habang patuloy na nakikinig sa kanila.

"I told you, I don't know either. When I came back in her room, she was nowhere to be seen." napakunot ang kanyang noo sa kanyang napakinggan.

Hindi sa hindi siya nakita ng asawa. Ito mismo ang nagpatakas sa kanya.

May sakit siya ngayon at sinubukan ng kanyang asawa na gamutin siya gamit ang Philosopher's stone na nakuha ng mga scientist mula sa mga sundalo.

Ngunit, masama ang kutob niya sa epekto nito. Palagi niyang nararamdaman ang pagsakit ng kanyang tiyan. Palagi na rin siyang naghahanap ng sariwang dugo ng tao.

Hindi niya maintindihan ang naging epekto nito sa kanyang katawan. Basta ayos lang ito sa kanya at nailigtas ang kanyang mga anak.

Maya-maya pa'y muli siyang nakaramdam ng sakit. Tiniis niya iyon para lang masiguradong hindi sasaktan ng mga sundalo ang kanyang asawa.

Blag!

"You're useless! You let that woman escape?! You knew that the Philosopher's stone contains unstable particles at the moment. That's why we still haven't used it. Now the stone is missing and so does your wife. You think we're morons?" Nakita niyang muling sinuntok ng sundalo ang kanyang asawa.

Lalo siyang nakaramdam ng galit. Tinitigan niya ang sundalo ng may galit sa kanyang mga mata.

Maya-maya pa'y nakaramdam naman ng pag init ng katawan ang sundalo.

"What the- Why is it suddenly hot?" biglang tanong nag sundalo.

Bigla siyang lumipad sa ere at nagsimulang magliyab ang katawan.

Nagulat si Johan at natakot sa kanyang nakita. Napalingon siya sa gilid ng building kung saan nandoon si Aphrodite. He saw his wife with glowing red eyes.

"Aphrodite!" sigawa niya.

Natauhan si Aphrodite ng mapakinggan niya iyon. Nilingon niya si Johan bago tumalikod at tumakas.

"Aphrodite! Wait!" Hahabulin pa sana ni Johan ang asawa, ngunit wala na ito.

"Welcome back, My child." The King gestured Prince Claude to approach him.

"Good to see you, Father."-Prince Claude

"I'm sorry about what happened. You cannot love that mortal. But if it wasn't for our law, I would let you love her. I would've given you my blessing."-King

"From what I remember, I am allowed to love her since I already made a promise with her."-Prince Claude

"There's a big risk loving a mortal, my child. You will understand once you've become a vampire. Now that you're on the right age, it is time for you." The King stood from his chair and approached the Prince.

"Let us start the ceremony. Bring in the chalice."-King

Prince Claude clenched his fist in anger.

'Why do I have to be born as a half-blood vampire?' He thought.

Several years later...

Claude's POV:

"Make sure to catch that idiot." I stared at the three idiots in front of me.

"Yes, young master." The three answered in unison.

I stared at the newbie. Actually, he's the real reason why we're stuck here. He bit a mortal and accidentally turned him into a vampire. If both of them can't control their hunger for human blood, the council will punish them for sure.

I can't let that happen. Since I am the responsible one why this newbie became a vampire.

"Leave. NOW." And they left.

I looked around and realize this is the place where the portal to Venus Garden is hidden.

I smiled weakly.

I miss you, my sweet Angela Sofia. I hope you're doing well without me.

I closed my eyes.

"Summoning, Venus."

I opened my eyes and I'm still standing at the same place.

I guess I can't summon our meeting place without you, My Sofie.

I sighed remembering what happened back then.

If only...... If only I was strong enough for the both of us.

"Garden of Love, I summon thee
As I vow to be one with my love.
Now, forever and alwa-" I was cut off by a loud scream.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!" SOFIE!

"Kuya!!! Jadieee!!!! HELP ME!!!!"

I quickly ran into the woods, heading to the direction where I heard the voice.

And I was right....

It's her.
