His Butler, a Question for Grell (Grell x Sebastian)

The Beginning

It was during my masters tea time that I heard a knock at the door. Unbeknownst to me, the young lord had promised Grell a night with me if he helped save Elizabeth. I went to the door and alas, there in the doorway stood Grell.

"Oh hello bassy!" He said, "I have come to pick you up!!" My face had a look of question on it. Grell must've seen it because he walked up to me.

"Oh bassy, I take it the midget hasn't told you yet. He said I could have a whole night with you if I helped him save lizzy!!" He said.

"I don't think the young master would do that." I said. Just then we heard a voice.

"Hello Grell." It said

"Oh my young lord I did not realize you were there." I said, bowing down. "Grell here was just coming to pick m e up. He told me that you promised him a night with me if he helped you but I said you would never..."

"That is correct." Ciel said, cutting me off mid-sentence. The young lord had never cut me off before.

"Is everything ok young lord?" I asked, masking concern in my voice.

"Yes sebastian everything is fine." He said. That didn't cut it. I could tell something was up and I was going to find out what.

"Young lord, I can tell..."

"Everything is fine!!" He snapped. It startled me for a minute but I just dropped the subject.

Grell was still standing there, just watching us. He finally spoke up.

"Well are you coming?" He asked.

"Just go with grell," Ciel said. "It's not like it will kill you."

So I was finally ready. Before I left I turned to ciel.

"If you need me, call and I'll be there." I said simply then headed off with grell

So grell and I went for a walk in the park and soon headed towards the lake. There, we met a strange old peddler. He told us he had the perfect gift for a couple like us. At this remark I scowled.

"We aren't a couple. Just acquaintances." I growled. At this grell looked at me. At first I thought he was going to slap me but instead, he turned and ran off, tears streaming down his face. As soon as I saw this, I regretted what I said. Next thing I knew, he was gone.

The stranger clicked his tongue.

"Tsk tsk lose the woman already?"

I felt uncomfortable at his strange sounding voice. He walked towards me and I tired to move but I was somehow rooted to the spot. He said strange words and a fog came over me....
