"Ok Yaejin. I can survive this." I whispered to myself

The cold wind blew through my long dark blonde hair. Each step made me more and more nervous. I was walking home from work in the empty streets in the 'sketchy' side of town. But it was the only way I could get home. It was around 11pm. All I could hear was the water dripping from the gutters on old buildings and the trees rustling from the cold wind. I looked up at the dark cloudy sky. I took a deep breath taking in the night air. It was a calm night. The full moon glowed above me sending shivers down my spine at the closeness. But something wasn't right. I looked back down and stared at the dark street ahead of me. The street lights shined over a dark tall figure. Heading towards me.

I stopped in my tracks staring at it not knowing what to do. I broke into a cold sweat as he was only a few meters away from me. I studied his face Seeing if a knew him. He started getting really close to me.I looked from side to side trying to figure out what to do. I started stepping back I had nowhere to go. The only way I could go was where he was. If I went the other way I would get lost. It was hopeless. But I know one way. I must be crazy.

I scurried around him running for dear life. I heard his footsteps stomping from behind me. My eyes are starting to tear up. It's over. I knew I couldn't do this. I felt like I had no other choice. But i just kept running. That was the only thing I could do. I was too scared to scream or yell for help. My body just got colder and colder the more I ran with the harsh wind blowing against me holding me back.

Im almost home. I was able to see the apartment. I started to speed my pace despite the exhaustion in my knees. My lungs grew heavy as my breathing got stronger. I almost collapsed. Im almost there. I can do this I thought to myself as the pain grew stronger. When will this guy stop chasing me. All I want to do is go home. Is that too much to ask? My pace got faster as I reached the apartment building. Tears keep pouring down my face as I grabbed my card and buzzed in at fast as I could. Now the man was locked in the outside hall way. I thanked god as I ran up the stairs still terrified from what had happened only a few seconds ago. I collapsed into my apartment. My fiance ran up to me. I hugged him tightly and sobbed into his chest. My knees keep wabling from all the pain of running and the cold night tensing up my muscles. My body kept shaking from the adrenaline. I could tell he was worried and Dying to know what happened. I'm so happy that I have him. I can't believe I'm going to spend the rest of my life with him. Because right now I need him.

"Yaejin. What happened?" Jinhwan asked wiping the tears of my face.

"I-I Was walking h-home from work. All of a sudden a man started to chase me home. I almost didn't make it! I-I-"

"Yaejin..." He cut off.

"Y-Yes?"

"Did you see his face?" He asked.

"K-kind of. He was medium skinned. With a Black peppery facial hair. He was tall and muscular. That's all i really saw" I sniffed.

His worried looked transformed into a sharp shocked almost scared look. He looked down and ruffled his hair as his breathing got heavier. He put his head up and looked me straight in the eye. "Yaejin... Do NOT go out anywhere without me with you. I will drive you to work even with my busy schedules. You are in danger Yaejin. And I can't let you get hurt." He demanded.

I could see the seriousness in his eyes. I never usually see that. I hugged him again. Worry washed over me. I kept shaking. He noticed me shaking so he took me to the bedroom and lied me down. He placed the covers over me and kissed my forehead.

We both fell into a deep sleep.
