Emilia didn't want to move, especially into the dreadwood house. It's almost 100 years old and people have died in there she thought. What if she was next. She was scared. People at school told her about the disappearances and deaths that happened in her house. Her mom, dad, 2 little brothers moved into a house of horror. Emilia told her parents that about the house but because they move a lot they just wanted anything that was on the market. She couldn't sleep at all and when she did she was scared to wake up. What might be below her bed? Is there someone waiting in the closet to kill her? Is her breakfast mysteriously poised? All of the above worried her.

On a cold March night around 10:30 pm she was lying down. She was so tired and actually wanted to sleep. Until she heard and echo. Everybody in her family was already sleeping so there shouldn't be any noise. "Why tonight? I have finals tomorrow!" She said. House. House. A voice said once but it echoed a hundred times! "House?" She was confused and put up with this voice whether it be in her head or in her house. She put in her headphones and listened to music instead of the echo. When she woke up in the morning the echo was gone. Thankfully she got out of bed in a good mood but then she remembered she had finals. Math and science, were Emilia's hardest subjects but she's always like social studies. She loved to travel and see the world. Right now she needs to travel to the kitchen.

When she got there her mom was crying. Emilia asks "What happened, why are you crying?" The answer she got was horrific. "Beau, we let him out and when we went out to get him he was stone cold. We called the vet and she didn't answer but dad is at the vet with Beau trying to figure out what's wrong. Honey, Beau is dead!" Emilia thought of her dog, Beau. He was lively and not he's not alive at all. It's the house, she thought. She knew.
