Third person-

Dan lays in his bed facing the ceiling. He's not tired actually he's energized. He wants to go in the night and dance and sing, you know the things you do in the morning. Dan has told his mom about this before, how he just wants to run away and then come back safely no harm done just chilling in the dark.

Flashback-
" Mom?" Dan called his mum. "Dan what are you doing up its 3am," Dan paused. "What's up night bug?" She patted a spot in the bed. "Can I.. go outside?" Dan asked watching his mothers expression change. "What, outside!? Didn't you hear me tell you the time?"  She laughed. "Mum I'm serious, it's better in the night because it's more calm and there's less stupid people." Dan tried to make her understand but she kept laughing. "Ugh you're useless!" He got out of her bed. "Daniel get back here." He leaned on her door frame. "Who's useless, I'm sorry I didn't here you, come closer." Dan slowly walked next to his mum. She slapped him, not hard, not soft. I didn't hurt but he wanted to cry. She saw the tears forming in his eyes and said " I'm sorry bug, it's tradition." Tradition he thought. "Your grandma did the same thing to me. I was just like you, I wanted to go outside at night not having friends it felt wonderful. It was fine back then but in this generation there are more bad people... and I'm- I'm scared." She started to cry. Dan hugged her. They stayed like that the whole night.

End of flashback-

It's like a cat. A cat goes out the front door and it takes an adventure but it's an adventure the cat doesn't know, or maybe it does. Maybe it has an exact idea of what it wants to do and where it wants to go.

He sighed.. knowing that's he's never going to be that cat, at least not now but in a couple minutes.

Dan-

I start to get dressed trying not to wake up my mum, but luckily I begged for the room with the balcony. I put on my eclipse shirt with the ring in the middle. It makes me feel happy when I wear it, but I dont know why.

I step out onto the balcony and smell the fresh air. It's not that high but I like to climb the tree just for fun.

I feel the grass on the ground (it fills me with determination jk) I start to sprint to the front gate. Once I'm out I feel free, yeah I'm like two steps from my own property but it feels different. "Dan!" I hear someone whisper very loud. I turn around and it's my mum. She whisper yells (?) again "Be safe out there and be back by four am or earlier." I'm shocked she's actually letting me but I'm not complaining. When she leaves the balcony I run, I run like I've never runned before and yes! I can say the word runned even though it's not a word, bc I'm free from grammar at the moment.

I stops running when I reach the forest. Everyone says it's has ghosts or it's enchanted but they have never been in it. Lets see if these rumors are true.
