I've always hated moving. The new friends, the new classes, the new schools - it's always been hard for me. It's hard to feel included when you've never found a place to call home. But finally, after 16 years, I was finally excited about a move. I have always wanted to go to London and finally I'm going to my dream place. And what's better than moving to you dream place? Your mom telling you that you can stay there until you graduate. There are so many questions I have about what's going to happen. Well- at least it's not Montecito. Oh crap- I lost my track. Where am I ? I walked the wrong way crap not again. Just then I bumped into my crush.
" Oh whoops, sorry" I stuttered, my face turning rosy red.
"Oh it's fine, I'm the one that should be sorry" he replied,"You're Eleanor right? You sit behind me in math class."
" Uh yeah Chase, that's me. Eleanor Greasley is the name and math is the game! Ahhh I'm stupid." I laugh cried as he started to laugh with me.
" You lost? You usually never come by here. Come on I'll walk with you." he said. Everyone always thought that Chase and I had this weird connection but i guess I never took action. There's no way for me to "take action" when I only stay in one place for six months max. But we laughed and talked as my last day in Montecito came to an end. I was upset to leave watch my end here come to start but hey what's more fun than the beginning of the end.
Right when I got home, I was greeted by mom who had once again..... gotten drunk. What A SURPRISE! She usually doesn't get drunk but on the last day before we leave a place, she feels bad for what she's "done to me". But could you really blame her? She works for a business company that makes her move around a lot. And ever since I was seven, it's just been me and her. My dad passed when I from cancer and it really took a toll on her. Ever since then, I've tried to help her the best that I can but nothing really works well for her. She just can't really get over my dad. Well I guess we'll see what happens in our new home... I hope it'll be better than this hell hole.
