18 years, that’s how long it’s been since everyone has saw Tsuna. 18 years of searching and almost losing hope. 18 years of crying and regrets. 18 years of never getting to see that smiling face and open hugs full of love. 18 years of nobody being there to comfort them whenever they feel down. 18 years of no one reading to them bedtime stories. 18 years of not telling them that this is nothing but a nightmare and all they had to do was look in the office to see him there. 18 years of no one there to welcome them home. 18 years without seeing the sky. 18 years of an incomplete family. 18 years of hoping and wishing to wake up from this cruel dream. 18 years full of mourning. 18 years of never hearing that loving voice in person, but through a hologram to fill the void, until they realize that this thing is nothing but their own creation.
~18 years before~
“Tsuna-nii!! Look at what I made in school today!” A brunet look up from his paperwork as his adopted little sister and brother, I-pin and Lambo, comes running in with a big poster. “I-pin! Lambo! Welcome back! And what is it that you have for me” The two grinned and open the big poster that held their whole family. Tsuna jaws drop as he stare at the beautiful painting of the whole family, the Vongola, Vindice, Varia, Caravello, Millefiore, Simon, Arcobaleno, and many more. “The two of you made this?” Tsuna asked as he slowly got up. The two started to get nerves, worried that their elder brother didn’t like the gift they made for him.
As if reading their minds, Tsuna smiled his ever welcoming, loving, and angelic smile. “It’s so beautiful! You two did such a wonderful job! Know what, I will hang this on the wall during our tea party with everyone. And during that time, they will see just how beautiful and talented the two of you are!” The two blush and gave their older brother a big hug, “Thank you, Tsuna-nii! You're the very best” And left the painting to their brother, so they can get ready for today’s tea party.
Tsuna chuckled at stared at the painting, a small warm smile on his face. A sudden attack of pain hit his head as he fell to his knees and held his head. ‘Something bad is going to happen’ Tsuna thought and wonder if he should cancel today’s tea party. However, this was the only day when they all gather and he didn’t want to ruin it, just because his hyper intuition is going on about something bad will happen. With nothing to do, he got up and did what he needed to do. “Reborn!” Tsuna yelled throughout the whole mansion, making those flinch at the sudden call.
Reborn, who was in the garden drinking a cup of espresso, jump at the sudden voice, but quickly compose himself and made his way to his lover. Opening the door, he closed his eyes and sigh, “What is it, Tsu-” But stop midway and went to his lover’s side. Tsuna held his head in pain and didn’t even notice that Reborn had entered. “Tsuna! Tell what’s the matter!” Tsuna look up to his lover’s eyes, tearing slowly coming down. “Reborn, my intuition is telling me something bad-ugh-will happen-ack!-and it will happen during the tea party”
Reborn place Tsuna on his bed, that also happens to be his office, since no one wanted to find their boss passed out when he makes his way to his bedroom, so they turned the office into his bedroom. “I’ll cancel the tea party-” But before Reborn could finish, Tsuna grab his hands. “D-Don’t. I’ll be fine, I don’t want to ruin this for everyone” Reborn couldn’t help but growl in frustration. Sometimes he just wish his lover would stop caring for others more than himself. But then again, that’s just one of the millionth reason why he fell in love with Tsuna.
~Tea Party~
Tsuna’s head kept feeling as if it was being pounded by hammers, but held it in, not wanting to ruin the fun everyone was having. Reborn stood by his side wanting nothing more than to just hit Tsuna for not listening to his intuition. Antonio, the head butler of the Vongola house, walk to the front and started getting everyone’s attention. “Hello and welcome to Yuni-sama’s annual Tea Party! As you may already know by now, this tea party is set up by Yuni-sama, because she wanted there to be a day where everyone can just come and become a big family. Talk and catch up with each other as we have fun just being here to be together. And as Decimo-sama always says, ‘Let’s all become one big happy family and have fun together”. Now for Decimo-sama”
