"Her things? This isn't the kind of book she would've just left sitting around" Clary said frustrated with Raphael

"I'm sorry, but that's the best I can do" Raphael said and clary looked to Simon before turning back to the lead vampire

"We're supposed to be allies" Clary said taking a step closer to him and Afina bared her fangs slightly and Raphael gripped her hand making her calm down

"And we are but shadowhunters have no business interfering with night children's affairs. You look to the clave for justice but the vampires look to me, Camille stays where she is" Raphael said glaring slightly at the two girls in front of him

"You're making a huge mistake" Clary threatened

"And you're making a huge mistake by threatening him" Afina said glaring harshly at Clary before Raphael pulled her back

"Are you threatening me?" Clary asked lowly before Raphael hissed at her

"Back off Fairchild" he demanded and Clary stepped back still glaring at Afina "I'll take you to get Camilles stuff then you leave"

Raphael turned around still holding Afina's hand and not noticing the silent discussion behind him before a pair of footsteps started following him

"So this is all of Camilles things?" Izzy asked once they were in the basement

"All I could find but she has hide outs all over the city." Raphael explained

"Interesting" Izzy said looking at something of Camilles

"I thought you were looking for a spell book?" Raphael asked catching onto to what she was doing

"We are" Izzy said in a bored tone putting the glass vase down

"We? Where are you friends?" Raphael asked as Afina watched from the side and Izzy looked up at him knowing she was caught

"Did you really think this whole tactic was going to work" Raphael asked walking around

"No but I thought this would" Izzy said before throwing her wipe to hit him but he vamp sped to the staircase

"Typical shadowhunters always underestimating a vampire" Raphael said before he ran up the stairs thinking Afina was following

Afina turned to her sister with a surprised look and Izzy gave her a sad one in return

"I'm really sorry about this Afina" Izzy said before Afina collapsed to the ground unconscious

Izzy dragged Afina out of the basement before Raphael even noticed she wasn't behind him

She waited for her que to go in and basically save Simon and Clary knowing she would have to save them in the end

When she heard the hissing of vampires Izzy broke a hole in the wall letting the sun seep through before running in and to the hall closest to her group and picking up a still unconscious Afina before walking back into the room

Izzy handed Afina off to Simon before making her way to the front

"Typical vampire always underestimating a shadowhunter" Izzy smirked
