School. A fun place to learn, said no one ever. Cue the cliche intro. I'm Avery Brooke. I'm just an average, A-B student. And I go to Glacier Mills high school. It's just normal school to everyone else but to me it's like a giant confusing maze. It has like fifteen billion halls and it has like nineteen floors. At my school I'm not that popular I only have one friend her name is Cassie. She is super cool too, I totally want to be her. She has Grey purple hair which she dyed herself, and it looks awesome! BEEP! BEEP! My alarm clock yelled at me to get up and get ready for school. After I got ready I quickly ate breakfast and ran to my car to drive it to school.
Once I got to school I walked to my home room class which is also my first period. As soon as I walked into the classroom I heard my teacher say "New semester! That means that you can make a new start to your year!" She said in her most preppy voice she could muster. I already see where this semester is going for me, down. After first period I had media center, which I requested because it's nothing you literally do nothing. Once I walked in I saw my media center teacher Ms. Grounds. She is sitting at her desk sipping her what seems to be fifth cup of coffee. I sat down at a desk to wait for everyone else to get here. Once everyone got into class she said" alright so today you have to meet your classmates. So go do that." She said groggily.
"Gosh I think that her boyfriend broke up with her again." Said Cassie to me.
"Yeah they have a very on and off relationship." I said as we walked over to our corner table in the very far corner of the room. Ms. Grounds has love issues so she will just sit in class and text her boyfriend, Henry, or she will sit in class and talk to the lonley kids who have nothing better to do, about her problems. After about one hour of Cassie and I talking the bell rang and we were dismissed to our next period.
