Chaper one~ A princess is born

Today was a normal day though the castle. Xan and Hannah were fighting over the life of an ant, Xan thought the ant was rude and should be taught a lesson but Hannah disagreed, she said that his life was too important. Bailey was being her normal prissy self tucked away in a corner in her own world reading a book. Kaitlyn and Briana where playing with their mother's flower tearing the petals off the flowers, these where rare flowers, and they knew what they where doing was wrong.

Then mother walk in. "WHAT ON IMIAIMOS ARE YOU DOING TO MY FLOWERS!!" she sounded furious. Kaitlyn and Briana quickly stood up almost in unison bowing and apologizeing. The room was silent.

Then mother broke the silence, "You two know those flowers are rare." She said looking down at the flower it's blue flame petals, sharp leaves and just as most rare plants had a light purple stem and leaves. "It's only a little plant momma" Kaitlyn said trying to get them out of trouble "That little plant cost 50 Imios" mother was quick to inform them.

"What could you possibly need those petals for any way?" Mother was trying to be calm she always seemed kind with her small body and pink ruffled dresses. "We just wanted to make sure the new baby would be heathy" Briana said with a sad tone "Yeah we heard you talking with Emy the other day he said this plant can bring good heath to who ever uses it" Kaitlyn added " We thought if you ate it, it would help the baby".

Mother thought for a second,at this point she was crouched down at their level "Well I know you meant well but using the flower mean to burn it and smell the smoke it made." It was like a light went of for the two. "we're very sorry" said Kaitlyn "we'll never do it again" added Briana. "Good" said mother then she left to the kitchen father joined her.

Lola was outside by herself. She was often by herself she didn't really like people they kind of scared her. She sat out there drawing many pictures. All of them where of birds. Birds where her favorite animal. She saw a blond fur bunny come up to her. "Briana?" Lola asked "how did you know" the bunny replied.

"Well actually I was just joking and I didn't know" Lola said

"Hey no fair" Briana said in a winny voice

"Sooo how long have you been hiding this. Does mother know. How about father." Lola said

Briana turned back in to her human form "you can't tell anyone OK" she said "very well. It's not like I talk to anyone anyways" Lola said.

Just like many other days the house was quiet but this was different. They were waiting any minute now a baby was going to be born. From what Tala has told them they know a lot about this baby like, it will be a boy, he will have black hair and blue eyes and, he will be strong and the most importantly he will be a wolf half blood.

This is good news for this family, because all their children so far are girls and human. This would seem to make since because their parents are humans but, by now many royale family have been given a wolf or dragon half blood by the gods. This family has been praying to Tala for years ever since their first child was born Xan.

Now was the time mother made her way to her room with a lot of help ,and after 10 hours ,and 7 nurses a baby was born. The nurse holding the baby look at it puzzled. "What's wrong with him is he sick? Does he have a blemish?" Father said. The nurse looked at him then looked at the baby then looked back at him.

"Her. It's a girl with white hair and blue eyes. She's not a wolf half blood or a dragon she seems to be human." The nurse told him. "WHAT. another girl and not just that ,but its a human! Tala promised us." He continued to rant on in a different language it seemed.

The nurse looked at the baby closer. "She looks like she has a little bruse on her side" the nurse told him. This really seemed to set him off. Although this was strange because she was the only child. " We can't let anyone see this baby!" He said "Then what do you expect we do with it lock it in the prison" said mother.

He thought for a second. Then decided "Yes. That's what we'll do. We can't kill it,because that would be bad luck. We'll throw a bed down there, a table and chair, and change the floor and walls. We will put a few guards to take care of her."

"We can't do that"
"Why not"
"It's not right"
"Why it'll never know the difference"

The nurse listened in on the conversation. It went on forever. Then finally they reached a decision. They would tell everyone it was a miscarriage and go with the plan of putting the baby in the basement.

After about 5 or 6 hours the room was ready. The baby was being brought down by the nurse. She looked at the baby and something was different. Confused she looked closer. Then she spotted it! One of her eyes turned red and the other one was also turning. Something was not right.
