I hold the necklace as its not warm nor cold as it feels like it is stuck in the middle of both i sigh and draw just a random face that has been appearing in my mind almost like its on repeat i smile and i hear the bell ring i put my earbuds in and pack up my things. i go to my bus and get on i sit in the back as everyone sits in the front i draw more and more and look and see people who have found their soulmate and i look down as mine doesn't give any direction on if im close or far away from him. I get home and go to my room i hear my dad snoring as he's passed out drunk again from a long night or drinking i look at my crimson red heart necklace i smile and empty my old bookbag and put cloths, food, money and some water in it i then hide it hearing my dad wake up still very much drunk. I see his shadow under the door and my heart stops as i hear a glass shatter knowing he only bothers me when he is angry and drunk i hide the photo of my mom i found in an old photo album before my dad burned it.
