The girls were hanging out by the school entrance, and the boys were watching them from the lot.
"So, how's this going down?" Akira asked.
Ryoji sighed.
"Weren't you paying attention to me?" He asked.
"No, I was thinking about one of my sluts." Akira answered.
"Honestly, your disgusting." Yu remarked.
"Jealous?" Akira smirked.
"Nope, I'm actually going to wait for the right person." Yu answered.
"P***y." Akira insulted.
"I'm not looking for an attraction." Keiichiro said.
"A girl would only drag me down." Ryoji said.
"And your opinion?" Akira asked Rei.
"..."
"Let's just go now." Ryoji said.
In truth, Rei liked Misa a lot, but his friends didn't approve, so, he didn't bother. Misa caught Rei staring at her, Rei quickly averted his gaze to the ground and ignored her gaze.
"Hey, Rei." Misa greeted.
"Leave him alone!" Akira scoffed.
If she wasn't with her friends, and if he was alone, he would've said hi back, but that couldn't happen.
The only time he was alone with Misa, was Math class, by alone, that means none of his or her friends.
"Rei, will you like to pair with Misa?" The teacher asked.
"For?" Rei asked.
"Pay attention next time, we're choosing partners to study with for the exam, or do you prefer to be alone?" The teacher said.
Rei glanced at Misa, she looked at him with a neutral expression.
"I guess." He answered.
He got up with his review sheet and went to Misa.
"Want to study in the library?" He asked.
"Sure." Misa answered.
Rei and Misa sat in the corner at a table in the library, there were only a few other students in there.
Misa didn't bother to speak to Rei, she wasn't sure why he even paired up with her.
"Hi." Rei said.
"Huh?" Misa asked.
"From this morning, hi." He said again.
"Why are you saying that now?" Misa asked.
"Because I can finally talk to you, alone." He answered.
"Why don't you talk for yourself?" She asked.
"What is this 21 questions?" Rei asked.
He regretted it because it sounded wrong, but Misa just laughed, she knee he was joking.
"You're a terrible joker." She remarked.
"I noticed." Rei agreed.
"Srsly, why don't you speak for yourself?" Misa asked.
"Well, everyone knows me as the quiet one that hangs out with the boys, so I can't be myself since they assumed it." He explained.
"Rei?" Misa asked.
"What?"
"Fuck you."
"What!?" He asked in shock.
"You spend so much time worrying about what others think of you, so start worrying about how you think of yourself, fuck what the world thinks, you don't need to change, the world can change its heart." Misa said.
"That's actually the smartest thing I ever heard." Rei said.
"That's just advice from a movie called 'The DUFF' and the last saying is from Alessia Cara's Scars To Your Beautiful." Misa admitted.
"But it sure does help a lot." Rei said.
"Fucking 'A' it does." Misa agreed.
Rei chuckled, maybe he was too quick to judge Misa he thought.
