I had walked in her office while she wasn't there, hoping to find an idea on the perfect gift for the perfect woman. We had been married a year and our anniversary was in a few days. I wanted to make her feel as special as she's made me. I was just about to leave when I saw it on her desk, that handkerchief I had given her the first time we met, back in the Enchanted Forest. She was just as beautiful then as she is now. I remember seeing her and couldn't help but wonder how I was going to make her mine. And after everything in Neverland, when we got back home I sat her down in private and we talked. I remember it like it was yesterday: "Emma, I want you to understand something." She was studying my face, trying to figure out what I was going to say next, "What is it Hook?" She spoke so softly, I stared deeply into her eyes, and I couldn't help but think how gorgeous she was in the moonlight. "Emma I-...I want to be with you. You've captured my heart and I honestly wouldn't want it any other way. You make me want to be a better person and no one has ever made me feel the way you do. Please, give this pirate the chance to sweep you off your feet." She was silent for a while before a smile stretched across her face but no words came out. Instead she grabbed me by the collar and kissed me. That kiss sent chills down my spine and I enjoyed every second of it. I knew I had accomplished my goal and soon, she would be mine. It took a many months and plenty of dates that ended with smiles, but I finally asked her to marry me and when she said yes, I felt those chills like when she kissed me. She had made me the happiest man on earth when those words slipped through her soft lips and I picked her up and passionately kissed the woman of my dreams. Now it's a year later, she's 4 months pregnant with our first child, a little girl, and as I stood there, a tear slowly rolled down my cheek because I was so happy. All those years of wanting love and I finally had it. I have a family now and I would bend over backwards for them. "Hook?" I heard my name and turned around to see her standing behind me. "Yes love?" I wiped my face, "What are you doing here?" She walked closer to me. " I smiled and gently placed my hand on her stomach, where our child was safely sleeping, "Oh nothing you should worry your pretty little head about. How's little Alexandra?" She placed her hand on mine and returned a smile, "She's fine. She's been pretty quiet today." I stroked her cheek, "That's good. Well let's go home. I'm sure Henry is having a ball being home alone." We laughed and began walking down the street. I looked up to see the sun beginning to set, it looked so beautiful and I looked at my wife who was as equally beautiful and I knew everything was perfect. I gently placed a kiss on her forehead and wrapped my arm around her waist as we kept walking. She was the beauty in my eye.
