"Is you even listening to me?"he asked
I shook my head and continued to type away at my phone screen.
He snatched my phone.
"You need some dick or something?"He quizzed me
I sucked my teeth and got out of his bed walking to his kitchen with him right behind me.
"Man leave me the fuck alone"I said
I grabbed a bag of chips and was about to grab a drink but he handed me a Gatorade.
I sat on his couch waiting for the pizza man to come.

"So you ain't gone listen to me"He asked
"To be honest nope"I answered
He sighed and walked to his room.I shrugged and rolled my eyes.
The door bell rung and I stood up from the couch.
I had on some volleyball shorts with one of Mr.broadnax shirts on.
I walked to the door and swung it open.
"Hey ma'am your total is $21.50"The boy informed me
I dug into my bra and grabbed a 20 and a 10.
"Here you go keep the change"I handed him the money and he started to walk off.
"Hey don't you play football for kyndell high?I asked.
He nodded his hand yes and I asked him some questions about their basketball team.
Our conversation ended when Mr.broadnax threw a punch at the boy face.
I pushed Mr.broadnax out the way and watched the boy run away.
I slammed the door shut and turned around and scolded Mr.broadnax
