Katniss pov

I awoke to the sound of racket outside the door to Peetas room (witch I've been staying in the last few nights due to bad dreams).I knew it must have been Effie and Haymitch. I quietly slipped out of bed and creeped to the door turned the knob and pulled it open. To a huge surprise I see Joanna (now happily married to gale )Gale Finnick Annie and their 3 month old son. I step outside and shut the door behind me. "I didn't know you guys were coming for Peetas birthday today"I say excited. I hug each one of me and Peetas dear friends. "Okay you guys head down to the breakfast table and tell Effie and Haymitch we are on our way".I walk into our room and wake up the birthday boy. "Hey Peeta wake up it's your birthday today I say as I put on a clean t shirt and some sweatpants. He slowly sits up and streaches reveling his six pack (he didn't have a shirt on ). I pull my hair into a messy bun as he puts a shirt on and we walk downstairs to the dinning room together. "Peeta I have a surprise to tell everyone at breakfast including you and it could change our lives BIGTIME"I kiss him on the lips just before we enter the dinning room full of chatter. As soon as we enter the room it goes silent we walk to the table and sit down together. On one head of the table is Effie on the other is Haymitch across from us are Annie Finnick their son (named Joshua)my mom (currently at the capitol with us along with Effie and Haymitch ) and on our side of the table me Peeta Joanna and Gale. For breakfast I have the same as everyone else one sausage patty scrambled eggs strawberries and pineapple. Peeta however has a big stack of pancakes with exactly 23 candles on top marking his age. "Make a wish" I say as he blows out his candles. Then I give him a big kiss on the cheek. "Alright everyone I have a surprise" I say a few minutes later. "Do tell"johanna says wiggling his eyebrows. "Yes please"Effie says "Go on sweetheart spill"Haymitch urges. "Well you see the thing is well as you all know me and Peeta have been married for a while now and we're not kids anymore well you see we're pregnant "
