How to know if it's a true friendship:
1) Do they share food?
2) Do they text you really late or really early?
3) Do they have cute nicknames for you that only they get to use?
4) Do they say "I love you"
5) Do you tell them you love them and mean it?
6) Do you treat their family, and themselves, like your second family?
7) Do you know almost everything about them?
8) Inside jokes?
9) Can you tell when something is off with them, just by a glance?
10) Do they do all of the above, to you?
11) If someone were to go through your messages with your friend, would they think you were a gay/lesbian couple?
12) Would you be proud of that fact?
If the answer is 'yes' for all of these, that person is your SMBFFL ( Soul-Mate-Best-Friend-For-Life) and if you ever push that person away, you are an idiot that doesn't deserve to have a SMBFFL.
