Cameron's POV
"Pick it up boys or you're running more!" I hear my coach yell as I finish my third lap around the track. "Three more Cameron, you got this." I tell myself. My friend Blake runs up next to me, "Damn," Blake looks back at Coach Martin,"what did we do this time to be running six freaking laps?" We run past Martin and he gives us a glare, "Blake, if you are gonna say something about me, at least grow some balls and say it to my face." We finish our laps and get drinks as coach starts one of his lectures. "Boys, last night's game was great, but the arguments that took place in the locker room were ridiculous. You are supposed to be a team. We have our final game coming up and if you expect to win that game, that is very important I must add, you are gonna have to grow up, get along and act like a team or just don't bother coming to the games or practices anymore and turn in your jerseys right now. Do all of you understand?" We all look at each other " Yes sir!" We all do 3 sprints down the 100 meter strip of the track then go to the locker rooms.
"Ok, so can we actually turn in our jerseys though?" One of the guys ask as we start getting changed for the school day (I would rather run laps all day than go to the prison that people call school) I look at Nick who asked that stupid question "yeah you can but I will beat your face in for it because you're leaving me to deal with Satan himself." The guys laugh and we start joking around and making fun of the coach, which we tend to do a lot more often now than we used to.
