Trees passed by him as he ran through the woods, trying to get away from the enemy. He heard the captain yell his name from behind him.He forced himself not to look back, because what he did is irresolvable, and if he looked back he would just want to go right back to them.

Tears wanted to fall down his cheeks, but he forced them away and ran as hard as his legs would allow him to.

"Get back here, boy!" The captain yelled at him again; they were getting closer.

He groaned and ran faster despite the pain now shooting throughout his legs. These guys were definitely persistent. Which, he would be too if he was after someone who did what he did. The only difference between him and his pursuers, he'd catch his guy. He quickly turned a corner and climbed up a tree as fast as he could. He sat against a branch where he could watch the trail but still be hidden.

He watched the people who are after him run past and he smiled a smile of relief and just sat back against the trunk of the tree to catch his breath.

"Finally. A break." He said with a sigh.

He looked up at the sky. How did all of this happen? Why can things be going just right, then out of nowhere everything get screwed up?And why are some people so mean?

He heard a branch crack underneath him, which broke him out of his thoughts.

"Uh oh." He muttered just as the branch he was on broke and sent him tumbling through other branches to the ground.

When he hit the ground, he let out a loud grunt of pain, then just groaned and held his back.

"Ow..."

Slowly he got to his feet, but wouldn't let go of his back. If only he could fly like Peter. He groaned and rubbed his back, then it finally stopped hurting enough for him to start walking. There's noway he could go back to the ship, they'd either arrest him or kill him. The only problem he had was the fact that he didn't know these woods very well, or how to get to a different town. All he knew was that he couldn't stay standing here because they would certainly comeback through this part and find him, then all of his running wouldn't have been worth it. He looked around and decided that he couldn't go straight cause that's where they just ran, he couldn't go back, which left him with left and right. Well, left has never done him any good,he always gets in trouble when he goes left.

After finally getting done arguing with himself, he goes right and just walks. Not knowing where he's going, or what he could possibly run into.

He walked for what seemed like forever when his stomach made a growling sound. He looked at it, then looked around.

"I guess I need to find something to eat before I go any further."

He pulled his dagger out of its holder on his belt and went over to a bush and cut off a whole limb that was full of berries. He looked at them closely to make sure they weren't poisonous, then popped one into his mouth and put his dagger away. These will do for now; at least until he gets to a town. He looked up at the sky and saw that it was starting to get dark, so he stopped and climbed into a tree and laid down on a branch, then just stared at the moon. Usually he'd talk to the man in the moon, but after all the betrayal and everything by everyone else he was close to, how could he even trust him? He sighed and turned his head away and stared into the darkness of the woods.

His eyes were just about to close when he heard someone call out his name, but he pushed it away, cause he thought he was just imagining it.

"Charlie." It called out louder.

His eyes shot open and he sat straight up, which was almost a bad idea, cause he almost fell out of the tree. Again. After he regained his balance for sure, he looked around at the trees, and in the middle of them all, right in the path he had been walking, was a light.

"Charlie."

"Wait a minute." He thought. "Is that light saying my name?"

He slowly and cautiously climbed down out of the tree. He looked at the light and slowly pulled his sword out of it's scabbard and walked towards it with baby steps.

"Charlie. Don't be afraid." The light said and a beam shot up.

He followed the beam up to the sky and it lead right to the moon. He looked back at the light and hesitated more.

"You have to trust me, Charlie. I am not your enemy." The light said.

He gasped and went wide eyes and looked back at the moon. "The man in the moon?" He whispered, then looked back at the light and went over to it.

As he walked up to it, it formed into a two-door door, and it slowly opened. He covered his eyes as light came out of it, but that was it.There was nothing in it except light.

"What kind of joke is this?" He thought. "What is this?" He then yelled up at the moon. "Are you taking me out of this world forever now?"

"No, I'm leading you to where you need to go."

He just looked at the moon, then looked at the door again, then back at the moon.

"Just trust me. Like you always have. Have I ever lead you wrong?"

He looked back at the door and put his sword away, then went up to the door and slowly put one foot into it. He took a deep breath and stepped into it completely. The light engulfed him and the door shut, then he felt like he was falling. He gasped in a panic and looked around trying to find something to grab onto or to stop him from hitting the ground, but there was nothing around; just light. He looked at where he was falling and the light got brighter. He covered his eyes as he fell into the light and everything went black.

Charlie slowly opened his eyes and blinked away the light from the sun shining in his face. He groaned and sat up.

"What was that?" He muttered and held his head.

He then looked around himself and noticed that something wasn't right. Something was different. No, take that back; everything was different. Right down to the trees and the grass.

Charlie slowly stood up and looked at his hands, they even felt different, but didn't look different. He looked at his outfit and sighed in relief, at least that didn't change. He looked up and noticed he was facing some trees, which meant woods. Which makes sense. He turned around and froze. Standing in front of him was a girl with red hair and brown eyes. She looked shocked and like she was trying to figure something out, but it wasn't how she looked or the face that she was making that made him freeze, it was that she didn't look like the other girls.

"Hold on a minute." He thought. "No. It can't be. I'm in the-"He paused his thoughts then muttered. "Real world." He looked at the girl and his face soon matched hers with shock.
