The recliner chairs were wide
enough for both of us to lay back.
We lay next to each other with
my head resting on her chest and
my arms snaked around her waist
while she played with my hair.

"So what does this make us?"
I broke the comfortable silence.

"Well what do you want us to be?"

"More than friends."

"So friends with benefits?"
she giggled.

"I'm serious Noah."

"Ok, then let's do it."

"Seriously?" I quickly sat up
and turned to face her.

"Yeah, I am." she sat up too.

I couldn't stop from smiling.
She smiled back before pulling
me from the back of my neck
for another kiss.
When we pulled away, she let out
a sigh of satisfaction.

"So what are we watching
Starboy?" she hopped off the
recliner and started walking to
the back, where to projector was.

"I don't know.
You can pick whatever you want,
I really just came here for the
snacks you promised." I chuckled.

"And here I thought you wanted
to see me and watch movies.
Shaking my head."

"Did you really just say 'shaking
my head' out loud?"

"I did, fight me." she sassed.

I decided to get up and help
her out with picking the movie.
We ended up watching some
scary movie which made Noah
jump multiple times.

It was a day well spent.

"I missed you dude." hugged
Tyler as soon as he stepped
inside the door.

"Missed you too Josh." he patted
my back as we hugged.

"So how does it feel to finally
be engaged to Jenna?" I asked.
Jenna had obviously said yes
to Tyler when he proposed.

"It feels great!
There's this really nerve wracking
feeling that you know that the
person you love is finally going
to be yours forever.
But there's also a part that thinks
that this is only and engagement.
We still have so much time to go
before we actually get married
and it's scary to know that things
can change during that time."

"Tyler, you need to stop thinking
like that.
I assured you that she's in love
with you man.
She's not just going to say yes
because she doesn't love you.
Stop doubting and let yourself
be happy in this." I smiled.

"You're right.
I'm just going to be happy that
I'm marrying the love of my life.
Anyways, enough about me.
How was your week?"

"Well I hung out with Kian
and Brendon a lot.
As you can see I got a nose ring.
And uh... meandNoaharedating."
I said the last few words very
fast and very quiet.

"Ok I have no idea what you
said in that last part." he chuckled.

"Um, I said..." I looked at him
nervously before continuing.

"I said me and Noah are dating."

"Wait what?
I was only gone for a week right?"

"Yeah, it's just that we were both
bored without Caitlyn and you
already knew I hung out with her
that one time.
We just started talking and going
out more and things just happened."
I shrugged and rubbed my neck.

"Ok I need to shower but I'm
gonna need the full details when
I come out." Tyler blinked
rapidly which meant he was still
trying to process that me and the
girl who couldn't stand me a few
weeks ago were actually dating.

"Alright." I agreed.

"One week!" I heard Tyler tell
himself as he made his way
to the bathroom.
I chuckled and returned to
watching tv.
