jonathan was never always deaf .
there was a time where he could hear and talk to people without having to read their lips or read their signs .
but that was all before the incident in high school .
now jon is in college .
he's known as the mute kid . he doesn't bother talking to people because he didn't want to deal with people's sorrows or questioning on his disadvantage .
he didn't want the pitty of the people and he definitely didn't want to open up to people and share his stories .
but the problem is that his professor or as jon calls him " the cupid from hell " decides to make a partner project .
now this wasn't the first time Mr.Jones or Ryan as he would prefer to be called had did this . although jon had transfer into that class in mid-semester he didn't experience the he'll of the first time .
