The lights flickered casting a rainbow-ish glow over the room. Bodies moved to the beat, stricken, with a pop song blasting out of the rusted and barely working speakers. A sigh left her lips as Jennie in her very drunken state realized that it indeed was an hour till another year gone. Picking up her body she made her way towards Alex, her boyfriend. Even through the numb bodies and the the toxic smell of cheap alcohol it was pretty easy to move. Her body found his, and both in their own whirlwind of emotions took the other.Bursting with ever desirous energy, their lips touched and from there on it was ecstasy. Alex's hands made his way  inside her shirt and his fingers left a burning trail as they danced along her skin. His other hand cupped her cheeks, a smile painted his lips. Pulling away he laced his fingers with Jennie's ,ever so gingerly and together they rushed to the nearest room. Their veins gushing with adrenaline, lust and something more twinkled in their hearts setting their whole body on fire. This feeling wasn't a stranger to either of the two. Cold, plain and space filled but they still managed to be the flare of enchantment. Their hearts were young, they had lived enough life to regret it. They were yet to be blessed. But to both of them it was this very moment they were safe relying on, cause of the future they could neither plan nor predict. Laying her down on the bed, Alex took off his shirt doing the same with hers. The cold sheets made her back tingle but all attention as withdrawn as he again pulled her into a dreamless reality. They danced along, their bodies in sync with their shattered selves. They caved in this moment as if walking on thin ice. Drawing a sweet memory on her skin he put his all in this night and she took everything he gave, knowing this was once just like everything else. Life'd made her too rusted to think otherwise. Tears glowed in her eyes as she savored him, his lips on her, her hands on him. The silver light of the moon reflecting his shadows and casting an auroral beauty on his face. The stars were out today, and they too sent their sympathies. Cause fate is known to be cruel.
