Your Pov,
Well let me tell you about me and my best friend. His name is Shawn Mendes. I have been liking him since the 5th grade. We are now juniors at Polly High school. We've been good friends since kindergarten. I heard a knock at my door. "It's open" I said knowing it was Shawn. "What's up!" he said. "Nothing much" I replied back. Shawn was acting quite strange but you let it go.
Shawn's Pov,
I looked into her eyes and stared at her for a while. "Shawn!" she said. "Sorry just a bit tired". Truth is I've like y/n for a while. I see her everyday and I've been wanting to tell her I like her but I'm scared that it will ruin our friendship. Today I'm going to tell her. Im determined even if she doesn't have the same feelings for me. We're going to get ice cream and I had decided to tell her once we were there.
At the Cold Stone
Shawn's Pov,
We get our ice cream and she goes and gets a table for us. She ends up getting a bench so I'm sitting right next to her. We finish our ice cream and sit down for a bit. 'This is it' I think to myself. "Ok look y/n" she looks at me and is all ears. "I've liked you since 4th grade and I've wanted to tell you but I'm scared that you won't have the same feelings for me. Your the most beautiful girl I've seen and you make me smile like crazy" at this point she is just smiling and staring into my eyes.
Y/N's Pov,
I was shocked at what he had told me. I was smiling like crazy. I grabbed his face and our lips met. It felt like thousand fireworks went off. We pulled away and we smiled at each other. "Shawn I like you too". With that being said I knew we were going to be more than just friends.
