Even when we build up walls of light,

The darkness creeps in and wins the fight.

We preach His power, His saving grace,

But we forget it ourselves, we shame His face.

Let Him in, finally allow it into your heart,

Close your eyes and open to a new start,

No more do you have need to mourn, to cry,

You meant enough to Him the He did die.

So don't push yourself deeper in,

Look inside; he'll wash away your sin
