The area I live is like no other place on earth. Specific places in the world have particular problems according to the nature of their location. The stinging cold, for instance, is the worry of a cold place like Norway. You wear warm clothes, wrap your flesh and the problem is over. If heat is the matter in an area like Florida in the US, all you need is a ventilator. I live in a dreadful place which has much more complicated gangrened matters. A dreadful place where a person can never have an ordinary day. A place where simple things that bore an ordinary person is a luxury. An area in which grenades are the toys of little children.  Here children dance with death, death inflicted by ordinary ladies and gentlemen living in the areas with ordinary worries. I live in area where rivers float in the color red. Even the happiness of the people here is nothing but red. An area where people feel grateful to God being able to see one more sunrise. Even being able to breathe is a great source of joy here. A great majority of the people in my region are dark skinned, yet we see pale skinned, blue or green eyed people in military uniforms or people wearing classy costumes and driving luxury jeeps. People who claim to have brought democracy here. Is it the democracy written in the textbooks? It is odd because the democracy written there and the one they brought us are rather different. They bring democracy to my region with their guns, planes and tanks, which I have never understood. There is a war going on here. Everyone is killing in the name of democracy and freedom. I used to be able to play with my friends in the street before those apostles of democracy came. Now the field I used to play football with my friends is red, washed with blood of them. I lost ten of my beloved friends and one leg for the democracy our new caring white skinned neighbors brought. I was fourteen. Now, I am twenty and I still don't know where all those people crying with rage and slaughtering in the name of democracy came from. How long will they be staying here? What will the place be like when they leave? Why are they here? Ah, yes! For Democracy!
