Cane sat in the back. He would hear a couple mumbles saying hi as he walked in, but it was nothing extraordinary. As he hunkered down in his sweatshirt and logged onto twitter, ready to engulf himself in his alternate identity, there was an uproar.
He knew exactly what was happening.
Piper had arrived.
Piper was the embodiment of perfection. Her complexion was unearthly, her body was of perfect proportion, her eyes were gorgeous, her laugh was like a song, and not to mention her musical abilities. Cane was obsessed with her, but he never mentioned it. As the noise died down, he began to go back to his twitter. After a few minutes, someone plopped themselves down next to him. They spent a while arranging themselves. Cane took no notice. Until a voice like butter spoke.
"Hey Cane!"
Cane's head shot up. His heart jumped

"Oh... uh... hey Piper"
She giggled. His heart skipped a beat.
She raised her eyebrow.
"A-are you okay?? You're turning red."

He shifted in his seat
"Oh... uh... no... I just... I... uh... sorry..."
She laughed and nudged him.
"GOOD MORNING CLASS"

Class dragged on.

Kira pulled her hair up as he complained.
"I mean... that is the first time she has ever tried to start a conversation with me... SHE SAT DOWN NEXT TO MEEE!

She flipped her hair and looked at him. Cane liked talking to Kira. She was kind, funny, and, even better, Kira was best friends with Piper. She knew everything about her.
"Well you could try talking to her"
"But..."
"Pip loves confidence! Just talk to her. Get close to her. Once you do that she will just fall for you. Trust me!"
He sighed and tried to talk, when suddenly everyone was up and talking...
Piper.
He stared at Kira.
"Gaaaaah"
She rolled her eyes.
"Cane, for God's sake, she is just a normal person. Chill."
"Normal?? That girl is not normal. She is perfection she is everything and I love her."
"Oooo! Does Cane have a crush???"

Cane turned around and saw Piper. He smiled and moved behind Kira.
Kira glared at him and pushed him in front of her.
"Yeah Cane does. C'mon, Cane why don't ya tell Pip about her?"
She smirked at him.
He glared at her.
"Screw you, Kira."
Piper nudged him.
"C'mon! Tell meeeee!"
She winked at Kira
"Do I know her?"
Cane nodded.
"OOOOO! What's she like?"
Cane gulped.
