Chapter Thirty-Eight

Naramdaman ko din ang pagbitaw sakin ni Heinz. Nang tignan ko siya ay di rin siya makatingin sakin.

"I'm not expecting you to be on my side Heinz. I know, she's your sister." Bumaling ako kay Spade. "Pero bakit pati ikaw? She tried to kill me. Well, hindi man siya iyon personally but I almost died! At siya ang dahilan kung bakit magulo ang buhay ko ngayon!"

Hindi sila parehas na nakaimik.

"Why?! Tell me why!" Sigaw ko sa kanila.

"She's my mate." Tahimik na sagot ni Spade.

Oh right. They are not gays. The girl's room in Spade's house was occupied by her. They were saying sorry because they are on her side. Great. Just great.

I sighed heavily. "So that's it. I understand." I turned around and headed to the door.

"Avery, where are you going?" Tanong ni Heinz.

"Far away from here. I don't want to see anyone of you." I answered coldly.

"You can't do that. Magkakaroon ng malaking pagtutunggali sa pagitan ng Raven at Lefevre bukas. Maaari kang mapahamak." Babala niya.

What? Why would they fight?

Of course, it's because of me. Kailangan ko nang makarating doon.

"Stay here. You are safe in here." Wika ni Spade.

I turned and smiled bitterly at him. "Don't act like you care about me because you don't. So, no thank you. And don't you dare follow me." With that, I left his house.

Calvin, where are you? I need you right now..

Naglakad lakad ako sa side walk. Ano na ang gagawin ko?

My life is so messed up.

I was kidnapped by my boyfriend's father and now my father is declaring a war against them. I found out that Spade is my enemy's mate. And I don't know where my mate is. Siguradong nag-aalala na siya sakin pati na rin ang kuya ko.

Kailangan kong makatawag kay Liam at sabihin sa kanya na nakatakas na ako sa mga kidnappers ko.

I should call them so--

Everyone is ready. I watched as our men gathered at the front of our house. There are a hundred plus of them. They are armed with big weapons. My father stood at the front.

"As you all know, Aguirre Raven has kidnapped my daughter. Nandito tayo para bawiin ang anak ko. And most importantly, to take down the Raven mafia." My Dad spoke loudly for everyone to hear.

I went beside him. "Are you sure about this Dad? Madami ang miyembro ng Raven mafia. Nakita ko na sila noon. They are powerful. Ipapahamak mo lang ang mga tauhan natin." Nakita ko na ang mga tauhan ng mga Raven noon nang nagkaroon ng assembly at lahat sila ay well, creepy.

"Stop this nonsense Liam! I'm not afraid of Aguirre and his mafia. Siguradong madali natin silang mapapatumba dahil hindi sila handa." My Dad said confidently. 

Pero kung paanong alam pala nila? Maaari kaming mapahamak.

Naramdaman ko ang pagpatong ng isang kamay sa aking balikat. "He wouldn't change his mind Liam. Let's just get this job done." Wika ni Uncle Reagan.

I ignored what he said. "But Dad, me and Calvin are friends!"

His eyes went black. "You are no longer friends with that bastard. Today, he is your enemy. Don't forget that it's his father's fault why your sister is not with us."

I didn't respond. I need to think of another way.

Kailangan kong mahanap si Avery bago mahuli ang lahat. Baka sa huli ay kami din ang magsisi.

"Let's go." My Dad left and went to his car.

"Let's go boys!" Uncle Reagan commanded. Lahat ng mga lalaki ay nagpunta na sa kani-kanilang sasakyan.

Oh no.. Kailangan ko nang kumilos ng mabilis.

I need to find her.

I need to find Avery.

My mind is full of Averys. God, how I miss her.

But everytime I remember her, my father's face shows up.

Bakit naman niya ikikidnap si Avery? Why would he do that?

Is my father going insane?

Something's wrong. Parang may ibang nangyayari. Meron akong nararamdamang hindi ko maipaliwanag.

I was in deep thinking while walking on the side walk.

Then I sensed her.

My senses went on full alert. Nandito lang siya... Malapit sakin...

Where is she?

Mas lalong tumindi ang kagustuhan kong makita siya.

Where are you Avery?

Soooo sleepy! Tinapos ko lang talaga siya para sa inyo..

Lumalapit na tayo sa katapusan... Pero malayo pa naman. Yikes, gulo ko no?
