What I used:
1) Deviantart for psds
2) Photoshop to make the cover (I used the free version which can be found in YouTube tutorials on how to download the free version)
3, Topaz Labs
Step 1: Grab a background like so
Step 2: Place your models in the correct position then add shadows and lighting
Step 3: Add your necessary text
Step 4: Add some psds or colourings
Step 5: Add Topaz, lighting and your logo then you are done
