WHY ME? Ch.1

~Melanie's pov~
*BEEP BEEP BEEP* who dares to wake me up from my slumber....oh just my alarm. I reached over trying to reach my phone but failing miserably. My face planted on the cold floor. I got up fast and put my black glasses on. I put my fuzzy socks on because it's cold in my house! I went to my actually finally organized closet and got out a long sleeved grey shirt and some light skinny jeans. I went into my bathroom and got dressed. I put some foundation and some mascara on. I left my hair naturally wavy. I got my boots and put them on. I got my bag and walked downstairs. My mom said "are you excited for tie first day of 10nth grade!!!" I said "I guess so"
Oh I need to introduce myself. Hi I'm Melanie and I'm 16 years old. I used to live in Tennessee but had to move when my dad got a job in California. I was kinda happy because I got made fun of at my old school. Maybe new school. New start.
So I walked outside and walked to school. I was almost there when I heard someone yelling "hey you there hi hi hi" so I turned around and saw an attractive guy running after me (not in a creepy way 😏) he said "you must be new here" he was smirking. Oh no a bad boy of course. I answered "yes I am my names Melanie" and he said "my names Cameron but you can call me cam" and with that I walked into the school beside him. Everyone looked at me. All the boys whistled. But I'm not one of those slutty girls who goes after the boys who use you for sex. I walked to the office and there sat a lady. She said rudely "what do you want ma'am" I said "my schedule please my names Melanie brown" and she handed me my schedule and with that I walked out. I bumped into someone I said "I'm so sorry" and he said "watch out you nerd!!!" And I just walked away. Hey it's my first day I'm not getting into a fight. I walked into first period and sat in the back. I put my head down. I heard footsteps beside me and someone sat down. I looked up and saw Cameron. I said "hey Cameron" he looked at me and smiled. Dang his smile tho. I smiled back.
~Cameron's pov~
She smiled back. Wow she has a really pretty smile. But she isn't my type. The teacher walks in and she's surprised to see me here. She said "wow Cameron your here earlier than usual and why exactly?" And I said "because it's boring in the halls without someone entertaining me". She looked at me shocked. Melanie looked at me in disgust but I don't blame her. Madison looked at me and but her lip. I looked at her and rolled my eyes. I slept with her last week how much more does she need?!?!?
~Melanie's pov~
It was lunch time and I didn't know where to sit. I walked around and someone said "u can sit here" it was Cameron. I walked over to his group and there eyes were on me. A guy with blue eyes said "hi I'm Nash and we are all his buds" and I said shyly "hi I'm Melanie". I'm hanging out with the bad boys at school I'm surprised. They were talking about girls. Mostly about hey who's the one your doin tonight or stuff like that. I kept quiet. They looked at me and Nash said "hey u still got yo v-card". Cameron said "Nash stop Melanie you don't have to answer him". I said " actually yes I still have my v-card because I'm gonna give it up to a guy who uses girls" I snapped. They all looked at me but before they could say anything I ran to last period. Cameron was in all of my classes. I sat down in the back again and Cameron didn't sit beside me. Wait where is he?!?! I'm not worried. YES I AM!! Twenty five minutes later he walked in with his hair messed up. The teacher didn't even question him. He sat beside me once again. *RING RING* I ran outside and walked home. I was almost there when Cameron and all his friends caught up to me. Cameron didn't look at me. Why was he mad? I asked him "Cameron are you ok?" He looked at me and just walked away. *DING*
I looked at my phone I got a text from my besties.

IM SO HAPPY!!! I guess the boys saw how happy I was and they asked "why are you so happy" and I said "all my friends are moving down here tomorrow" and Nash asked "what are their names". I answered "tiff, Bianca, and Emma. We all have been friends for years they've been with me through everything". I got home and Sao S he to them but Cameron kept walking I don't know why. I walked in my room and put some comfy clothes on and walked downstairs. There was a note.
Melanie, I'm so sorry sweetie but me and your dad went to night shift work. We left 100$ if you wanted take out. We love you see you tomorrow bye;)

Of course! I just went upstairs and went to lay down and watch a lot of movies till I got tired. I heard someone throw pebbles at my window. I opened my window and saw Cameron. He said "hey I'm not mad at you I was overreacting I'm sorry see ya tomorrow bye" I just latex down and went to bed.
