One Lonely Girl?

Sky's POV

'right Sky, get yourself together. I can do this. Just... Relax, check your schedule, if you -get lost, ask for help from s-someone..'

-Thats right. I've never had friends. I've been home schooled since i was a little child. I dont know what it feels like to be loved. My parents rented me my own home went i was 5 years old. From then, I've never seen them again, only my tutor comes by once in a while to check up.. I dont know why they left me, i just know im lucky enough to have found this opportunity in my life. If i haven't  of, who knows what i might have done to myself.-

I start thinking positively as i walk towards the schools front gates.

'Here we go..'

I stop walking when i get to the gates, i search my jeans pockets for my schedule. I finally find it and unflod it gently.

'So my first class is my form class.. I go to this class every morning.. Its in A block, number 30. Alright that shouldn't be hard to find, i guess?'

I fold the schedule in half and hold it in my hand, as i walk inside the school.

Sky enters the school and starts waking through the hallways.

'Uhhh... Im so confused... Where is A block?.. This school map doesn't help at all..!!'

On the way inside i found a map of the school, the map was just small enough of a size to be carried around.

'Well, lets ask someone for help then...'

As i turn a corner of the hallway and start folding the map when-

*Push*

Sky- "A-AHH!!"

*Drop*

*Fall*

'What... Was that..?'

Sky- "O-oww.."

Someone pushed me deliberately and i fell forwards, onto my face.

As i start to sit myself up, i hear something i didn't think I'd hear.

Mean girl 1- "Ahaha..ahahaha..AHAHAHAHAHH!!!"

Mean girl 2- "hahahahah! Omg! Look, shes crying! What a crybaby!!"

I look up to see two girls laughing and looking down on me as tears start streaming down my face.

Sky- "Did... You... Push me,, deliberately??"

Mean girl 1- "hehehehehhe!! Maybe i did.... Nerd!"

'I need to get out of here... wheres the gym hall.. I need to get somewhere safe... I dont have a good feeling about these girls..'

I quickly pick up my schedule and wipe away my tears. I stand up and face the two mean girls.

Mean girl 2- "get lost! Newbie nerd... Bastard! You wont make any friends!! Shoo-?!"

Sky- "Stop it!"

I couldn't listen to them any more and accidentally shouted out what was in my mind.

Sky- "You know, i haven't met anyone like yous yet. Tsk, your probably the type of people that think they are always better than others and look down on people. Well guess what, your not special. We are all human. Dont treat people this bad, it shows you have no self respect. Calling people bastards.. Your just being rude..!"

'Shoot did I just say that out loud?!?!'

Even though i didnt mean to say that, it left the girls in silence. So i decided to walk off, not looking back. Then, somehow, i had made my way to the gymhall.

I make my way toward the double doors, there's a note on them.

"Boys Basketball Practise starts in half an hour. The gym is free to everyone till then. Feel free to enter."

'Oh... Great, some peace and quiet for a little while atleast.'

I pull open the heavy double doors and enter the gym hall.

Sky- "It's so... Big.."

I start looking around the hall, im surprised at how big it actually is,

'Its even got step-seats on one side..'

They are probably there for people who come watch the games or practises from time to time.

I stop walking as i see something.

'Was that basketball there in the corner when i came in?..'

Curiously i look around the hall. No one is in here exept me.

I take off my bag and put it beside the basketball. After that i pick up the basketball and start dribbling it down the hall to the basket.

'Cmon... Lets try this. Shoot!!'

Sky- "Kyaaa!!"

I jump up and slam dunk the basketball in the hoop.

I manage to grab a hold of the basket, and i pull myself up. Just high enough to sit ontop of the net.

'This is epic..'

After calming down my heart rate, i jump down onto the ground, landing on my feet, i begin to walk towards the basketball once again.

Dribbling down the hall multiple times and scoring each time turned out to be quite fun.

'Dribble... One more time...!'

As i dribble down the hall i dont notice the doors open and some people come in, im too concentrated on scoring to care.

?- "Yeah! Go on! Shoot!"

?- "You can do it girl!"

?- "Keep going!!"

I take the words of encouragement and jump full force. I throw the basketball once more in the net, and i score perfectly.

?- "Yea!"

?- "Thats what I'm talking about!"

As gravity pulls me back on my feet, i feel like im out of breath. I dont have the strenght to look back, or to stay standing up, i drop to all fours.

?- "Woah!"

?- "Miss i think you went a little too far there! Are you okay?!"

Sky- "Ah.. Eh... I.."

I look up to see 7 guys jogging towards me, asking me if im okay.

I gather the strenght to sit down properly but as i do-

Sky- "A-ahhh?!"

I look around and see the guys picking me up.

?- "We'll take you to the bench, you need to rest. That was an epic shot! We would love to see that again, but for now, sit down on the bench."

?- "You are welcome to stay and watch practise if you'd like."

I turn my head to see the person that has just spoken.
Hes got Dark blue hair, with the tips of his hair being light blue, his eyes are a radient & clear blue, his smile is beautiful.

I look him in the eye and smile as he supports my arm as we walk to the bench and say

Sky- "Y-yes. I'd like that, thank you."

Blue haired boy- "You've got some skill to shoot like that, whats your name?"

Sky- "Sky.. My name is Sky, yours?"

Josh- "That's a cute name, my name is Josh, and this is Sean, Scott, Tyler, Luca, David and Matthew but we call him Matt."

They gently sit me down onto the step seats and smile up at me. I look back at ever each one of them with a shy but thankful smile, i can tell that im bushing because my face feels hotter than it was when i was sweating.
