a/n? This is kind of awkward, to be completely honest.

CHAPTER 2

I had to learn ‘Kimmy Etiquette’ for the next few days.

Well it shouldn’t be too hard to act like a shallow, flirtatious, charming, yet endearing sister.

Think again.

I couldn’t flirt for the life of me.

Even if I had the sudden urge to flirt with someone, I would probably end up choking in front of them or they would run away. I have serious social issues because of my blatant honesty.

I don’t sugarcoat things.

Life doesn’t sugarcoat things either.

Finally, the day came for the start of the camp.

I guess they wanted all of the teens to socialize or some other poop because as soon as you checked into your dormitory, they whisked you off to some inaugural dance.

Like that wasn’t bad enough, I had to dress up as Kimmy. Walking in five inch heels wasn’t that bad but I felt like I was trying too hard to get attention.

Kimmy had taught me how to apply a pound of make-up without it falling off and how to be model-perfect runway or some other foolishness.

But that wasn’t even the worst part.

My Madre had volunteered to stay and was animatedly talking to a big group of people.

Even though I looked like Kimmy, I acted like May. I sulked near the back of the pavilion and pulled out a book.

I was reading it when two figures plopped down.

“Hey, Kimmy.”

Aiden and Wes had sat down and were looking at me expectantly. I dug deep and transformed into Kimmy.

“So I get three whole weeks with you guys at my side. Best. Summer. Ever.” I sang the last part and winced inwardly.

The pair just chuckled and started talking about all the girls in the room.

Boys.

But I went ahead and started chipping into the conversation.

“Wes, no. She has no curves and that dress is not helping matters any.”

And then:

“Aiden, are you blind? Yeah, she’s so hot, she can turn my drink into a Popsicle.” I thought I was doing a pretty good job, because I had them laughing at my all-too-honest-quite-frankly-kind-of-Queen-Bitch attitude when I noticed a girl staring daggers at me.

Half-jokingly, I asked the man candy, “If someone tried to kill me, you’d be there for me, right?”

Aiden chuckled and said, “Yeah. To give you a few jabs myself.”

I gasped indignantly and clutched my heart, “Well it’s good to know that I found my knight in shining armor.”

Aiden smirked at me again but when I looked back to the general vicinity of the girl, I saw she was nearing closer.

I sat there calmly and waited for all hell to break loose.

“What are you doing with my boyfriend?” Her nasal-y voice rang out.

“What does it look like I’m doing? I’m teaching them how to fly.” I said sarcastically. Point for May! I mean, Kimmy.

She snorted at me and said, “Are you a Grey?”
