He glanced up from his struggles to look at her briefly, something lit in his eyes, but he looked away as he started into the main area of the shuttle. He seemed to meet the solemn gaze of all of the men before he reached the edge of the ship, Jyn letting him draw ahead of her.

She stopped beside Chirrut who was, as always, looking around blindly, but this time he had a smile on his face. Whether he sensed that they were going to succeed or he had somehow felt the interaction between her and Cassian, she would never know.

She almost jumped when she felt a heavy hand on her back, but she turned to see the soft expression of Baze who spoke quietly, "Good luck

She looked to Cassian to tell him she was ready, but stopped when she noticed his millinery was askew.

He gave her a look of confusion as she rolled her eyes and reached up to fix it quickly, thankful that she hadn't put the shade down on the kepi yet so she could actually see what she was doing.
