Authors are powerful people
There is no limit to what they can do
They have the power to make you ecstatically happy
And make you have a heart attack, too
Authors have the power to create new worlds
Beyond what we think is possible
They can make it like earth or make it unknown
Make it horrific or make it magical
Authors have the power to create new life
Bringing characters up from fiction
They're the only ones I know who can kill somebody
And still not get convicted
Authors are powerful people
Clearly unaware of the powers they hold
With the ability to create and bring to life
They are the envy of the entire world
