I awoke with cold sweat remembering the day my kind died, the raging battle. I looked at my clock it was alarming 5;30 I jumped up, took a bath an headed to class I put on my clothes and teleported to class. I sat I my usual seat at the back corner hoping no one notices me. No one likes me but Jake he is my only friend the other call me a freak and a mistake. Class as usual was boring. We went through the history of werewolves and their heritage, none of this interested me it was boring no one even thought about my history and then the moment I would never forget a huge fireball the size of a building probably some advanced fire user class gone wrong came huddling at the building I was in, I could feel the intense heat from here. I tried to use my ice to put out the flame but as quickly as I could make the ice the ball would melt it, everyone fought to get to the door but the knob was melted right off. We were useless and not ever the wind users could help us, I felt my skin start to boil and then darkness engulfed me.

Jake pov

Me being a day walker meant I was different from everyone else. They all hated me for being me, today I couldn't take the teasing and names so I skipped class and went to the food court just looking at food then I spotted my only friend Mark and i walked over to him. I pulled out the chair opposite him and stole a slice of his pizza I told him about my day and I could tell he wasn't interested so we just talked about guy stuff. After a while I got thirsty and went to feed. After I fed I didn't feel like going to class so I went around looking in other classes. I was passing a fire welders class and stuck around a little longer to see what they were doing it looked like they were creating mini suns. Then some kid named randy I think lost concentration and released the fireball the inferno went right out the open windows and headed for the neighbouring building, I knew Mark was in that building and I started to Sprint towards the building using every ounce of superhuman speed I had and finally made it to the building. I went to the entrance and attempted to get in but was stopped by the two guards asking for a pass. I knew I didn't have access to this building, then the first guard said "wait a minute aren't you the freak day walker" and that blew my fuse, I attacked him by hitting his chest sending him flying through the wall, before he landed I ran up to him and slammed my fist into his face and felt his skull crack. I quickly ran to the other guard and elbowed him in the face ant then kneed him in his gut, I finished him by ripping out his spine through his mouth. I ran to the building then I felt it, the shock wave of the impact knocked me backward and smashing me into a wall, breaking it. I soon found myself fighting for consciousness but failed as the darkness engulfed me.
