Medic stood at the (RED/BLU) spawn point in the Badlands. This was the last base the other t team had that could possibly hold (Y/N). Medic looked up at the spawn point and noticed the photograph they had of the team and (Y/N) that was taken the year before. He noticed Heavy staring quietly at the photograph as well. The doctor walked over to the Russian and put his hands on his shoulder. Heavy didn't take his eyes off of the photo. "Don't worry," Medic began. "We'll find her." Heavy sighed and nodded.

"I know, Doctor. I won't let leetle men get away with this today." The Administrator's countdown began. "I will make them suffer."

"Zhen let's get ready, mein Kamerad," Medic said. Heavy looked over to him and smiled. He picked up Sasha and watched as the doctor started charging him.

The mercenaries rushed out of their spawn point to face a bloodbath. The other team had somehow made it out before them and set every trap up. Their demoman's sticky bombs went off, causing most of the team to blow up instantly. Only Heavy and Medic remained. Heavy fired his minigun at the men, with rage building up in him every time he saw them. "Charge me now, Doctor!" Heavy called out. Medic nodded and quickly flipped on the ÜberCharge. Bullets ricocheted off of the two men and the opposite team slowly retreated. "Time to hide, cowards!" Heavy yelled. Suddenly, the two heard a crackling sound and the red/blue shield that coated them vanished. "Uh oh..." A bomb landed in front of Heavy's feet.

"And let this be a bloody lesson to yeh!" The (RED/BLU) Demoman shouted. The bomb exploded, killing Heavy instantly and throwing Medic feet away from his dead body. Shrapnel stabbed the doctor and he could barely feel his body. He laid on the ground almost unable to move. The gunfire around him continued and didn't seem like it would have any end. Medic, with his quickly diminishing strength, reached out for his MediGun. Perhaps he could heal himself real quick and escape the situation he was in. Although the pain was excruciating, Medic continued to try and reach the MediGun. His eyesight began to blur and soon everything began to grow dark. He heard footsteps beside him and barely saw someone standing in front of him before blacking out.

Medic woke up to find himself in an unfamiliar room. He was securely strapped down to a wooden chair and it seemed like there was no way of escaping. Knock, knock. Medic looked up to see the (RED/BLU) team walking inside the room. He felt his heart sink to the ground the moment he saw their (red/blue) clothes. "Good, you're finally awake," the (RED/BLU) Spy remarked. He walked over to Medic and took his cigarette out of his mouth. He smirked and pressed his cigarette against the doctor's hand. Medic cried out but was quickly interrupted with a punch to the face. The (RED/BLU) Spy sighed and leaned against a table. "Let's get to the point, shall we? You are the most reasonable and, dare I say it, sane person on the (RED/BLU) team, correct? You are also the most important to everyone. You heal everyone and make them invincible. Today in the Badlands was the closest you've gotten to us, to her, in a long while." Medic's eyes widened. "Ah, I see you're interested now. Yes, you could have found her. She was sitting there, waiting for you. But you never came." The (RED/BLU) Spy took out his knife and walked back to Medic. He held it under his chin and lifted it up since he wanted to make them see eye to eye. "We know you want her back" - He cut Medic's forehead - "and we'll help you with that. We just need you all to hand us your intelligence and answer a few questions. Is that clear?" Medic felt his blood drip down the side of his head and he frowned. He had to save (Y/N) from these cruel, sadistic (RED/BLU)s, but betraying his work would definitely earn his head a spot on a plate. Besides, the thought of having another "friendly chat" with the Devil didn't seem appealing to him at the moment.
