So without further ado, I present book 2!

Laura POV
It was the day before we left for the Magcon tour. It had been nearly 6 months since winter break and Hayes and I were still going strong.
There were the occasional hate comments but I ignored them most of the time because I know they are just jealous.
But anyways, it was the day before Magcon, I was leaving home for the entire summer. Hayes and Brent were in my room helping me pack.
"This?" Brent said as he held up a black shirt that said 'defy gravity' with a green witch on it.
"My wicked t-shirt!" I said. "Yes pack it!"
"I am so excited for this summer! It's going to be fun! I've got great fans, friends, and an amazing girlfriend." Hayes said pulling me into his side and kissing the top of my head.
"Aww but you're the amazing one in this relationship." Kissing him again but on the lips this time.
"Ugh, get a room!" I heard Brent shout at us.
"We have one, and it's mine, you're the one who needs to leave, you loser." I argued while laughing.
He just stuck his tongue out at me playfully.
"Fine, any of you lovebirds want something to eat?" He asked, leaning against the door frame.
"I think we're good! Thank you though!" I said.
After Brent left I kissed Hayes again.
"You know it'll be 6 months in a week, half a year now." He said.
"Yep! I'm fully aware!" I said. "what are our plans?"
"It's a surprise." He said.
"Well, last time I got a surprise from you, I ended up crying." I joked.
"I thought it would be romantic..." He said.
"Nice try buddy." I laughed, patting his back. "But seriously what are we doing?"
"It's a secrettttt" He said cheekily.
"Fine but if I start crying, it's your fault." I said, continuing to pack.
"Well you won't because you will love it." He said wrapping his arms around me.
I just leaned my head back on his shoulder and thought.
How did I get to such a perfect place?
This time last year I was being abused.
This time last year my only friend was Brent.
This time last year, there was so much pain and problems.
Now I was just so happy. I had a ton of friends, a perfect boyfriend, and I was going to Magcon!
This summer will be perfect and nothing will stop me.

Brent's POV
I was downstairs making a sandwich when I got a phone call.
Crap. It's Anima again.
"Hello?" I sighed.
"Hey baby." She said.
"Stop calling me Anima, you cheated on me. I don't want to talk to you."
"Brent I am so sorry-" she started to say.
"Save it." I said into the mic before hanging up.
I sighed once more.
This shit was crazy mixed up.
At the end of last year, I had been happy with Anima, she was perfect. Then i found her cheating on me.
I broke up with her and then I realized.
It's been right there in front of me this whole time.
She's been there this whole time and somehow I still missed it.
Laura was the girl I needed.
And the only thing in my way was Hayes.
