"Mark, c-can I come stay with y-you for a couple days" she said over the phone
"Of course Jade, as long as you tell me what happened this time." He says
"I-i will Mark"
"Okay I'll see you soon, stay safe"
The fragile girl walked down the street; blood dripping from her arm. She had bruises all over her body. Tear stains on her face.
She felt dirty, used. She didn't feel like she deserved to live.
As she walked up to Mark's a car behind her honked at her.
"WHORE!" The boy in the car yell
More tears welled up in her eyes as she knocked on the door.
Mark opened the door slowly. His scanned her bruise covered body. He pulled her into a hug. She cried into his shoulder.
"W-what happened Jade?" He said tears pricking his eyes
"D-domnic h-he has been a-busing me"
"Oh Jade" Amy says behind Mark " what happened sweetie"
"She had an abusive boyfriend" Mark said softly
"Let's get you cleaned up"
Amy brought Jade to the bathroom. She bandaged and cleaned the cuts on her arms. Taking the pieces of glass out.
"Thank you Amy" the fragile girl said
"No problem, you can borrow some pajamas too"
"Thank you so much"
She gave the girl sweatpants and a clean shirt. She put her blood covered clothes in washer.
"There's a extra bed Ethan's room" Mark said
"Ethan?" She said
"He's my editor, he's nice though"
Mark lead the girl to Ethan's room.
"Ethan she's gonna be your roommate for a little while"
"Well nice to meet you" the blue headed boy said
"Nice to meet you to, my name's Jade"
"That's a pretty name" he said
She ignored that and laid down in the gray comforter on the bed.
He wanted to be friends with her. He had gone through stuff too.
And the scars on his arm were sure to show it...
