Authors Note: Hey, I have finally decided to make a sequel to my other book I'll never forget you. Unfortunately Zayn will not be in this book because he doesn't really fit in the storyline. I hope you all enjoy it and please vote and comment :) All the love.

21st December 2016

3 days. It will be 3 days until I see Louis again. We had remained in close contact since he left 6 months ago, although it broke my heart not seeing him in so long.

My mum and I are going to spend christmas round the Tomlinson house and we are all planning a surprise birthday party for Louis when he comes on Christmas Eve.

"Katherine," I heard my mum calling me, so I quickly jumped off my bed and made my way downstairs.

I share an apartment with Liv in London, as it's close to our work, although during the holidays I stay with my mum because she says she gets lonely by herself, even though she has recently bought a little dog to keep her company.

I made my way down stairs and joined my mum and our dog Alfie in the kitchen, watching her busily making Louis birthday cake. She insisted that she would make it this year, as Jay wold be making Christmas dinner for us all.

The room was already filled with Christmas decorations that my mum and I had put up; paper chains were hung on the walls, Christmas candles were lit on the window sills, advent calendars were placed on the table and a huge christmas tree adorned with ball balls, tinsels and flashing lights stood in corner of the room.

"Hey mum," I said happily and watched a smile form on her face. My mum had been much happier since my dad left, it was like a heavy weight had been lifted off her shoulders.

"Hey honey, do you mind finishing wrapping Louis presents so they're ready for when he arrives?" She asked motioning toward the few presents that were still lying on the table next to the wrapping paper.

I nodded and sat down at the table, smiling as I started wrapping Louis birthday and christmas presents, certain that he'll love them. Now all we have to do is wait until he arrives.

Before I knew it it was December 24th; Louis birthday. I woke up with a wide smile on my face and shot out of bed, the first thing I did was text him excitedly, saying happy birthday and how excited I was to see him in just a couple of hours.

My mum said that Louis will arrive at 12:30, which would be just enough time for us to get ready and go to the Tomlinsons house.

I had a quick shower and washed my hair, before getting changed into the outfit my mum got me for my birthday. It was a black high waisted skirt with a burgundy long-sleeved crop top and a pair of black heels. I dried and curled my hair before putting it in a high ponytail, letting a few strands fall out and frame my face.

I put on a bit of makeup before grabbing my coat and clutch bag and heading downstairs. My mum was already dressed and was loading up Louis cake and presents into the car.

"Want me to help?" I asked, taking the cake from her hands and carefully placing it into the car.

"Thanks darling," she said smiling, getting into the drivers seat. "Let's go."

I got into the passengers seat as my mum drove off, turning on the radio as Christmas music blasted through the speakers.

"Are you excited?" She asked beaming, nodding her head to the tune.

"Of course I am mum, I haven't seen Louis in months." I said smiling excitedly as we neared his house.

"Well its 12:00 so you will be seeing him and the boys soon," she said reaching their big house and parking in their drive. Flashing christmas lights were hung around their windows and small ornaments were scattered around their front garden.
