The Rules

The first rule about book club...

You must complete your assignment. Everyone who joins book club is in it to get more reads and comments about their story. It is a give and take relationship and anyone who does not complete their end of the bargain is out for the next round immediately.

If you know you will not be able to complete your assignment in advance then you need to PM me before the round starts to let me know you will not be participating. No excuses. If you know you have to study for exams and you won't have time then be courteous and let me know you will be out for that round, then you can be back in for the following round. Savvy?

Ok... the second rule no trolls allowed in book club. What is a troll? Someone who is insulting to the author, their work, and does not offer constructive criticism. They will be bounced out of the club. We will have all kinds of writers in this club, from the young person just starting their writing to the experienced older writer. We will also have people who are from all around the world who's English may be somewhat limited. Everyone is on a different level in their writing path and wants respect.

The third rule... stories that glorify rape or incest must be stated

The fourth rule... I don't have a forth rule in place at this time, but I can add more if the need arises.

You need to have at least 6 published chapters. Prologues count, cast lists and author's notes do not. Highest priority will be given to the most dedicated members. Books with 10 or more chapters are preferred.

All works must be written in English.
